I order really good beef jerky from this place, but getting hold of anyone who can help you is sometimes hard. They also dropped a time sensitive order, offered to send it right away and charged me $ 18 for the higher shipping(when I never requested special shipping) It was supposed to be free shipping. In other words I had to pay for their mistake. I would give them 5 stars if it weren’t for this annoyance.

First time here in a long time. Still as friendly as always. Great service which is their trademark. New room added since our last visit. Great ham and sausage biscuits. It is good to see that great service and food is still available along I-40.

This is a great little shop. It has a very nice small town atmosphere. It is quick, but a nice break from fast food while on the road. They have great sandwiches with fresh meat and cheese. They also sell fresh beef jerky, home made jams and jellies, and honeys. I will update this when I try my jam! I also got some pecan pralines. The only thing I would suggest is the added option of veggies for the sandwiches.

I stopped here for lunch while on the interstate between Oklahoma City and Muskogee. …of course Unilocal was off line for maintenance so I wasn’t able to check-in and share at the time… This is a unique nitch on the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. While they do have the typical souveniors, home canning foods and stuff… they have a small but worldy famous meat market. I stopped for a quick and easy lunch… ham sandwich… sliced right there… potato salad and a bottle of water. They also have turkey, beef and pork. This isn’t fast food… if you want that then get back on the highway and watch for McDonalds. What you will get here is a nicely sliced meat piled onto sandwich bread or a bun if you prefer. There is a nice condiment counter… mustards, mayo, etc. You can take your lunch to go or sit in the dining area at a table and chair… take a load off while you enjoy your meal. Service was great, nice atmosphere, good foods. This is certainly a family operated small business… show your support!!!

I hope this place never changes a thing. It is my very favorite place to stop on Oklahoma road trips, and I feel like it gives me a little taste of what life might have been like in a more simple time, and it is so much more pleasant than a gas station or McDonalds stop. All of the Robertson’s are spotlessly clean, and the staff is always friendly, as though they actually appreciate your business. The restrooms are nice and at least this location has recently had a nice update to the restrooms. So, on to the food! Don’t skip the jerky, but that’s your road snack. Just put that aside for now. If you’re heading to visit a friend, take them some honey, or some salsa, or some of the other yummy canned good. Don’t show up empty-handed, now! If it’s morning, get either a sausage and cheese or an egg and cheese biscuit. In fact, get two, because they are little and cute, and so good. And by the time you realize you want another one, well, you’re already five miles down the road. If it’s lunchtime or later, get a great ham and cheese sandwich(or two) and just enjoy some delicious, delicious Americana!

Driving across country you think you will have all sorts of culinary experiences when the truth is you eat a shit ton of fast food… then you find this place. Robertson’s is a smoked pig heaven. I had the country boy ham and summer sausage on a hoagie roll. A dollop of the homemade jalapeño mustard and it was perfect. A freaking awesome sandwich in the dessert between Oklahoma City and Little Rock.

Saw a billboard for this place while doing a road trip across America. Famous ham sandwiches & jerky sounded interesting so we stopped for gas at Love’s & then headed over to Robertson’s for a ham sandwich &WOW!!! Just plain sliced ham on white wonder bread, they have options of miracle whip, hot mustard & tomato relish on a condiment bar, but that’s it. &ITWASGREAT! This ham sandwich needed no fanciness to take away from the great flavor. We also picked up jerky for the trip & it was dry & crispy until you put it in your mouth & it just melted away. The service from the tall red head was EXCELLENT& we even came in ten minutes after close! Atmosphere is very laid back, definitely check this place out on your way through, you won’t be disappointed!

Finding this place made my trip worthwhile. It’s the kind of gem you only come across like 1 out of 100 stops! I was intrigued by the highway signs that just said«Robertson’s Ham Sandwich’s», with a little mention about beef jerky. I thought, «Why only ham sandwich’s? Must be a hell of a sandwich!» I hit the exit and found the place right off the freeway. The pic posted here is at the store, not on the freeway. I went to the counter and saw a pile of ham sandwich’s in buns, other piles in sliced bread,(white and wheat) and a pile of rolls with ham and summer sausage. I asked the friendly old gal behind the counter what the difference was. She said the buns were the jumbos with 4 ounces of meat. The sliced bread where the regulars with 2 ounces of meat. All had cheese.(I hadn’t actually noticed the rolls yet.) Anyway, I grabbed the jumbo, had her heat it up, and hit the condiment bar where they have like 8 different spreads. Another nice old gal was there spreading something that looked like mustard and relish on hers. I asked her what it was, and told her I’d not been there before. She looked at me with a sweet smile on her face and said«You’ve never been here before? You’ll be back!» Then told me what she was spreading was mustard and jalapenos. I went with that, got in my car and hurried on down the road. It was, without a doubt, a food purists perfect ham and cheese sandwich. Soft, chewy bun, sugar cured, hickory smoked, super thin sliced ham, melted cheese, and spicy mustard spread. If I wasn’t running late, I would have headed back for more. It was awesome! That and a bag of chips costs less than $ 5 bucks. They have a ton of other products, including a deli… I should have spent more time there. Google the site to see their other offerings. I’m bringing bacon home in my bag next trip.

This place is located off of Interstate 40 exit 200. Head south you will find it next door to the Love’s gas station. You can see it as soon as you go under the overpass. This is the place for a real deal ham and cheese sandwich. The beef jerky is made on site. If your on a road trip and not too far from home or your destination pick up some bacon. If it’s going to be a couple of days get a smoked ham. Ask for a sample you wont be sorry. What I love about this place is it doesn’t try to be anything it’s not. No lame fake nicknacks. Everything you see for sell was made locally. If you decided to get something for the road. You can go next door to the Love’s and buy ice and a cooler.
