Ingles Market No 94

The managers of the Ingles Starbucks is horrible. They are so inconsistent and so customer unfriendly. They should replace every one of them. Most specifically Ashley and Cindy, and Renee (the manager at Seneca). Renee is the most unfriendly and poor manager, I can’t believe she still works there. Here’s the breakdown:
I am a starbucks gold member. I have been ordering the same drink for years. Here’s my order: Grande Coffee Frapp light poured in a venti cup with whip cream (with a dome lid). I can order this drink at any corporate starbucks and get my drink perfect every time. However, ordering this drink from either the Starbucks Ingles locations at Seneca SC or West Union, SC is a complete nightmare. The West Union location always fixed my drink the way I ordered it. The Seneca location Manger (Renee) said that I cannot order that drink because I’m not paying for extra whip cream. I’m not ordering extra whip cream. Then they come out and say I MUST pay for whip cream. No problem, I’ll pay for whip cream. Paying for whipped cream was ok with me so that seemed to work well for about 5 days. Then they come out and say they’re not allowed to give me a dome lid and that I need to pay for Whip Cream, and that I’ll be charged another 50 cents for the dome lid. So now my drink that costs $ 4.27 (with tax) is over $ 5. I just want to get my drink in peace. One day I’ll walk into the Seneca store and they will give me free whip cream, then I walk into another Ingles store, they charge me for whip cream. It’s just so inconsistent I don’t know what the policy is. Well, I guess it doesn’t matter, because when I get charged for a dome lid and whipped cream, I walk straight to my vehicle in the parking lot, contact Starbucks Corporate, and they always put $ 5 back on my starbucks card, so I am receiving free starbucks drinks from Ingles. Ashley and Cindy ended up firing the West Union Starbucks manager over whipped cream. The manager at Seneca still has her job even though (in front of customers) called out the manager at West Union saying he was a liar. She also quit and gave her 2 weeks notice in front of customers at the store. She is the WORST manager I’ve ever encountered!!! The manager at West Union (that was fired) should get a promotion to replace the ingles starbucks district managers. I will continue to complain about Ingles managers because they should all be replaced immediately! To Cindy and Ashley, these policies need to change. You should be catering to your customers, not running them off with unwritten policies that make no sense and are not consistent from store to store. Have a wonderful day.

Me and my husband shop at this ingles in seneca sc on a regular basis and wouldn’t shop anywhere else! I just had to leave a review after our visit to the store today. I want to give the manager a huge thank you! I wish I had got his name, he is young, tall, wears glasses, he looks and acts very professional. After we had issues at the deli, he immediately handled it in a very professional way, he made sure we were completely satisfied before we left the store. It is so comforting to see such a young man in this position act the way he does. Ingles is very lucky to have such a fine young man.

My favorite supermarket in Seneca!
From the produce to the ice cream, Ingles’ selection is immense. The store is brightly lit and clean, the prices are very affordable ($ 3 for ice cream!) and the service fast. The produce section is quite large and the beer and alcohol section is well-​laid out. The bakery has a large array of beautiful cakes. The pie selection was pretty limited though. Looked like standard grocery store pie. The bakery staff was very friendly.
