Love the atmosphere, service is good, beer selection is OK, pizza crust is pre-made and was bland, like paper.

This is a cozy little pizza shop. We live nearby and I had a family member that had to check out«Alexandria» so after a lot of walking around, we were hungry. Come to find out, there is a lot of businesses closed downtown on Mondays so we only had 2 choices. I’m glad we chose this place. We ordered one of the specialty pizzas with artichokes, red peppers and basil. I did ask for some red sauce and pepperoni on it. The hand tossed crust was perfect and toppings were great except they forgot to put our pepperoni on. The waitress overly apologized and took it off our bill. It was still delicious and I look forward to coming back with the family!

Pizza made just like we like it. Light sauce with lots of cheese. My family of 4 ordered an extra large pizza and still had two slices left over. Enjoyed our visit and will come back for sure the next time we are in town.

I will start by saying some of the employees are a little rigid not the usual southern hospitality. The pizza is fair, if you don’t like it chewy, ask them to run it through twice. I would give them four stars but like a lot of things in Senoia, the drinks are over priced to make up for lack of volume. The staff is a bit unwelcoming.

Lovely place to sit outside and enjoy a pizza and beer. First time visit. Ordered Greek salad and Godfather’s pizza with thin crust. Salad tasty with romaine lettuce and generously portioned. A small was more than plenty for two to share. If you have eaten at Godfather’s Pizza in the Midwest, this is not that pizza; prosciutto, basil. VERY salty and sadly, greasy. But this is probably because we ordered, duh, prosciutto. Won’t get that next time but would definitely return for another tasting and enjoy the charming setting indoors. Brought our dog and she was welcomed in the outdoor seating. Service attentive. Huge takeout business.

Great food and good atmosphere. Little bit unorganized when we came in…“wait don’t sit there… we seat you…5 mind later, go ahead and sit there”. Food took a little long to get but they did have a sign posted letting you know it was made to order. We got a supreme pizza and cheese bread which was really a big cheese and garlic pizza for the kids. All was very good. We’ll go back.

Wanted to try pizza in Georgia just because I wanted to compare. I would have to admit that being from Chicago, I was not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered a thin crust pepperoni and it was simply delicious. Highly recommend this place especially for all TWD fans in town.

The pizza was very good, the dining area is comfortable but a little small and compact, the employees were very nice and friendly. We truly enjoyed it.

Have visited twice. The interior is charming, and it’s a great location. The young woman who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming. On both visits, however, the servers never smiled — or if they did, it was forced. This area is full of genuinely warm people, not sure why the place has servers that are bordering on surly. Everything on the top of the pizza is right. It looks good, the cheese is good, the outer crust is browned. I think the oven’s just not hot enough. The bottom crust is soggy, even with just a topping of cheese. It could also just be not kneading the dough well enough to windowpane point for gluten development, but something’s just off. I’d make a point of coming here regularly with friendlier service and a crisper bottom crust.

I would write less if I could. I had better microwave pizza than this. Shame. I felt bad cause of road construction affecting their business. The cheese, sauce and pepperoni was about as thick as a graham cracker. No taste, hardly any sauce. They never heard of garlic salt but they had garlic butter. Worst pizza I ever had, except for when I was stationed in Turkey. Sorry to waitress, she did her job but since the cook and management didn’t do theirs she didn’t get a tip.

This is only my second time eating here but both times the pizza and salad were excellent. Pizza is a thin crust type. This restaurant. Alway a good crowd. Located in the small town where the walking dead is filmed it’s a cheap alternative to feed the family compared to the other restaurants in the area. Good service!

I’m writing this review in response to other reviewers who gave Matt’s Small Town Pizza a lower rating because of their personal tastes like preferring, «a crunchier crust» or, «too big of a pizza” — that’s like going to a horror movie and complaining that it was too scary! Matt’s Small Town Pizza gets five stars from me. In style of round pizza that others may be familiar with, it’s comparable to Jet’s Pizza or Papa Johns. It has a soft, breadstick like crust and a perfect balance of cheese and savory sauce. The toppings are fresh and well-made, and extremely tasty. The price is right where it should be for the quality and flavor of this delicious pizza. Matt’s Small Town Pizza is the perfect pizza place to satisfy the pizza hunger. After trying every pizza place in the Peachtree city, Senoia, and Fayetteville area, Matt’s Small Town is in the number one spot. Enjoy!

Pizza is decent. Delivery fee is exorbitant nearly 100% sure the wings are SYSCO pre-prepared. They have a brick oven on their website, but I do not see it in the shop. I could be wrong though.

Great Restaurant! The staff is very friendly. The pizza is delicious! and if your a Walking Dead fan you might just run across one of the stars there. The only thing is that it sometimes takes awhile to get your food.

Ordered a margarita pizza about an hour ago. Walked in and ordered it to go. It took a while for it to be ready, but there was a sign said that everything was made to order so it was to be expected. As I sat there I thought, «I hope this pizza is good, otherwise my husband is going to get annoyed and complain!» Well good news! We devoured the pizza in record time. It was so fresh and delicious. lots of grape tomatoes cut in half, TONS of chopped up basil. The sauce was yummy, the crust not too thick or greasy. Thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks, Small Town Pizza!

Came to check out the town and Walking Dead locations. We’ve been in search of the best pizza so stopped in Small Town Pizza. Unfortunately still have not found the best pizza. Wish we had known how large the pizza slices were and would have ordered less. Hate to leave food uneaten. Pizza was ok but unremarkable.

Pizza toppings were very good but the crust seemed too moist and had a hard time holding up the generous toppings. It was good pizza but the crust wasn’t very crusty. I like my crust crunchy so that you can hold your slice with one hand. Couldn’t do that here — had to either use two hands and get the hand holding the pointy end all covered in pizza goo or cut it with a fork(sacrilege!). The fried dill pickles were very good and had a nice gentle spice to them I really liked.

Do not visit Senoia on a Monday. Walking dead, indeed; nothing is open. Nothing except Matt’s Small Town Pizza and a couple of other shops. The Unilocal location is incorrect, by the way. No telling when they’ll fix it. Matt’s is on the north side of Seavy Street, about halfway between Main and Barnes. Country music. Lester loves his dawg. Bubba shot his momma. Mabel-Sue swore to her baby daughter never to drink again, and later that day drove into a bridge trying to avoid crashing into a drunk driver. Two small dining rooms. Not really any good seats for one or two people to sit. Pull the door shut behind you — no one in Senoia has installed hydraulic door closers. Were you raised in a barn? Oh… sorry. I didn’t know. Look, I said I’m sorry. How was I to know your deddy died in a barn fire after the cat knocked over a lantern? Why not write a song about it? Oh… Really? Carrie Underwood, you say? It was #1? I don’t know about Georgia, but back home Pizza Inn was fairly common until, despite being voted the #1 pizza chain in the US in the early ‘90s, they began to close most locations as they shifted heavily toward fat-American-style dining. In the mid-80s, Pizza Inn introduced me to taco pizza. I’ve yet to have one that I like as much. Super-thin crust, ground beef, shredded cheddar and lettuce, tomato. Even salsa way back in the day. The place wasn’t very good, but I always returned for taco pizza. Matt’s has taco pizza. It’s not bad. The crust is too thick, and it falls apart, requiring a knife and fork(which I absolutely hate to use with pizza). They use red onions, which should be chosen only for appropriate recipes. This is not one of them. The grape tomatoes could use some ripening. They bake the pizza with cheese on it, whereas they should instead only sprinkle cheese after it’s baked. The jalapeños aren’t spicy at all. Otherwise, a good attempt. A slice is about $ 5 with tax. Given the size and ingredients, it’s worth about $ 2.75. I didn’t know this before ordering, but I’m letting you know in case you’d like to negotiate a fair price out of Ruby-Lee or Reba-Mae. I’d be cautious ordering most non-pizza items. All of the appetizers are frozen, mass-produced stuff(or so I was told). They have wings, sandwiches, calzone and pasta dishes, as well. The wings aren’t a bad price, but I haven’t seen or tried them. They offer a tiny salad bar, but it looked pretty pathetic when I came in late for lunch. Everything was empty or nearly so. Be prepared to listen to a few tourists talking about zombies and a certain AMC soap opera that should’ve been called«The Undead and The Restless» throughout your meal. And shut the fucking door. Overall, 5⁄10.
