Beautiful gem in Sequim, the bridge is really cool and a good hangout spot by the water. We didn’t have time to explore a ton, but it looked like there were lots of great trails!

Great place to bring kids and dogs. Beautiful views and a bridge over the river that goes up into the trees. Only downfall is if you want to walk fast and have a baby in a stroller the walk over the bridge can be a little bouncy. Very relaxing place with several trails to follow :)

This is the most amazing place to spend a sunny day. You can walk cycle and picnic here. The water is so clean and crystal-clear. It’s five minutes from downtown

Beautiful park. The bridge is very impressive. Hiking trails all around. There are a few picnic tables by the scenic river. Bathrooms available. There is a small building that houses some sort of bird club I think? Maybe Audubon society. I go to this park to relax and eat my lunch with the gentle sound of the river in my ears. Lots of parking. Very pretty place.

Very cool. We saw a bald eagle outside and a bunch of stuffed animals inside the visited center. Beautiful place for kids of all ages.

I thought my toddler would get a kick out of the railroad bridge, but was unprepared for how impressive it is. The old bridge, with a brand new ramp built by volunteers, spans a beautiful, tree-lined section of the Dungeness River. My son did indeed get a kick out of it –he ran up and down and around the ramps, peered down at the water through the railings, and didn’t want to leave. We were there on a sunny but cold Sunday and it was kind of crowded for this part of the world, but not so much it was not enjoyable. Except for the large and apparently unfixed male dog running around, who took a distinct interest in my(female, spayed) dog. But our annoyance was mitigated by our amusement at his air-humping. Bathrooms available outside the nearby Audubon Center. Plenty of free parking. No playground, but you won’t miss it. We were thinking about going back today until it started to hail …
