This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. My husband suggested trying this restaurant about 2 years ago and we became regulars. :) We were very surprised by big portion and the fact that food is quite tasty. Being Korean. I was pleasantly surprised after trying their Korean dish. especially. bibimbop and beef stew. The price is not cheap but considering portion and quality… it is worth it. Pretty much every time we went there it was busy. but they prep food pretty quickly. Happy that Sequim has this restaurant!

Very disappointed I’ve had it there before and it was much better no flavor at all on the stirfry only a half portion of salad that was water poured water out of the bottom of the container and way too much rice also very greasy I don’t know why they have so much oil congealing on the bottom of a stirfry

I would prefer that the seasoning is not so sweet. But I love the fact that the portions are large, the food seems wholesome enough but sweet sauce coupled with rice and sweet salad dressing makes me sleepy. I know I’m probably the exception as most people prefer it sweet but that is my personal preference. People like me, who might be desiring to cut carbs etc, I recommend telling them to make it «less sweet»

This is our second time here, and it’s the first place we went to after moving here today. 3 different types of meal: prawn tempura, Mongolian beef and Bulgogi. All were delicious, with large servings.

The ambiance isn’t anything to write home about, but the food and service sure is. Had an excellent Bento there last night and it came about as close to casual dining in Japan as I’ve had in a very long time. The staff is obviously eager to please and the place is immaculate. A pretty full menu of Japanese and Chinese food the way Americans like it. Generous portions, economically priced. They seem to have adopted the Japanese tradition of delivering food when it’s ready, not when everything for the table is ready. Result, everything is hot, as it should be. We’ll certainly be back.

One of the most difficult aspect of running a restaurant is probably consistency. I recently had the great pleasure of visiting this place again, this time with my family. I ordered dolsot bibimbob and it was as good this time as last. We also tried the tofu soup. We visit tofu soup joints in Los Angeles and Orange County often and their tofu soup surprisingly tops them all! Its quite remarkable that this unassuming joint in Sequim can have such good Korean food! The only downside is their kimchi, which is not authentic kimchi.

i come to sequin time to time and i tried this place and it is very good. i got the beef short rib meal and it was very tasty. the marinate is just perfect, not too sweet and not too salty. good portion i was definitely full. the place was quite busy during lunch hours. It seems popular, a lot of take out orders. cashier girl was nice and good customer service. i will be back again and will try something new

Just a mediocre teriyaki place… alot of business but, it’s Sequim so, it’s slim pickings for teriyaki. I got the shrimp skewer teriyaki and it had no flavor and shrimp was over cooked. Workers look like they’re in their street clothes. The only thing that is good are the bubble teas.

We stop by this place on our way to Hurricane Ridge. Never had teriyaki before but this place was awesome. The food was delicious and the portions were solid. I wish they had this kind of stuff in Chicago.

We stopped in here to get something easy while passing through town. Understandably, there may not be a lot of options in the Sequim area for variety, so this is more or less what I would consider a standard teriyaki place. That being said, the prices were a bit unjustified. I expect to pay about $ 7 for a lunch special and maybe $ 8 – 9 for a regular teriyaki combo plate. Anywhere in the I-5 corridor between Seattle and Portland, that is what you will find, and sometimes an even better deal. However, maybe it’s the location, but we were paying $ 12 for just your average combo! And the bento at $ 15 or more is in no way a deal — you don’t even get the option to customize what comes in the box. There was very limited seating and a unisex bathroom which wasn’t very clean. The only cashier was a bored teenager who saw that we were having trouble deciding but didn’t offer us any help. She didn’t give us enough forks or napkins and we kept having to go back to ask for things. All of these things are annoying, but forgivable. However there was one really negative thing that happened while we were there: a guy came in who was lingering around and not ordering anything, which was a bit unnerving. He hung out in the dining area for a while, and then one of the cooks came out of the back to meet up with him. They high-fived and made a profane and rude comment about getting out of there and going to «score», which could have been about drugs or sex or basketball for all I know, but it was definitely inappropriate because everyone in the dining room could hear it. The cook also looked like he was cooking in dirty street clothes, which made me feel uncomfortable about the food I was already halfway done eating. Next time we are in town, I will try the sushi teriyaki place across the street and see if it is any better. I just don’t see myself coming back to Sequim Bento Teriyaki again.

This place is very reliable in that it has good food, and great prices. I really like the plates that they bring the meals out on. Very big, really pretty, great for the piles of food that they offer. This time we had the chicken teriyaki, their specialty, which was great as usual. We also had the General Tso’s chicken. It was very crispy and delicious, and my favorite part about it is the ability to choose the level of spiciness, on a scale from 1 – 5. I don’t like it burning, so I got a 2, which was perfect. Probably one of my favorite General Tso’s anywhere. Only 4 stars because I had the side of fried prawns, and they were just a little bit soggy, like the batter hadn’t been fried long enough. Sorry, but I don’t like soggy prawns.

Most folks come here for chicken teriyaki, but I come here for the spicy beef brisket soup. The portion is huge and it’s so delicious! I also enjoy chicken yakisoba and chicken teriyaki. I normally ask for them to use white meat instead because I have had done chewy pieces of dark meat before and that was gross. I also wish they’d change the mayo based salad dressing. It literally tastes like watered down mayo with sugar added to it.

This place is always hoppin’! I can recommend pretty much anything on the menu. If you’re looking for«fast food Chinese» I really love the teriyaki chicken and the general tsao’s chicken. They are made fresh for each order, so the chicken is crispy and flavorful. They are both large portions, plenty to share or save for another meal. If you are looking for more traditional Korean fare, the bibim bop or Bulgogi are both excellent. Finally, the bento boxes of sushi and tempura are also fresh, filling, and flavorful. The only reason I didn’t go 5 stars is because of the dining room and common area. It’s not disgusting by any means, but it’s not fantastically clean or appetizing either. The floor always seems to need mopping, the walls are a little grimy with peeling wallpaper. The bathrooms need a good scrub, and the hallway to the bathroom is piled high with boxes, inventory, etc. That being said, if I could have gone 4.5 stars I would have.

I visited Washington a while back and I was craving some asian food so bad. Luckily I found Sequim Bento Teriyaki: D It’s a cute little joint, seems like its really popular for take out. We came between lunch/dinner time around 4:15. and came right at a perfect time. Just missed the lunch rush(thank goodness). BUT we were sad we missed the lunch special for $ 7.95 :/ I came with a a few of my friends so I was able to try a few things on the menu. PSHUUUUUUUGE portions. The prices are pretty fair for the amount you’re given. Only regret is not saving the pictures of the food we ate. Anywho. . CHICKENTERIYAKI: so delish. I’m not a huge teriyaki fan but the chicken was so moist and the teriyaki sauce was perfect. just found myself keep going back for more and more. Plus huge portions of rice and salad. FRIEDRICE: we got the shrimp fried rice. SO amazing. again, huge portions. but of course, not only is quantity is great, but the quality is superb. MONGOLIANBEEF: ah, the much adored chinese dish. it’s either wrong or right. but this place def got it right. the marination was so perfect and it wasn’t too saucy, but not too skimpy either. beef was tender and perfect sized. Ah now I wish I had some right now. We didn’t order any bento boxes, I don’t know why because the name is BENTO teriyaki. It’s a pretty good price for a little more extra variety… but next time I’m in Washington, most def stopping by here again. I want to try the tofu soup and bibimbap next time. ah getting hungry thinking about it now Fixed my asian food fix and didn’t hurt my wallet. Def a hidden gem in Sequim guys, better get your fix before it gets too crazy popular.

The quality as well as quantity of food has diminished. These days they smash the rice down to a very thin layer & spread the food out to cover the huge plate they use to make the illusion of a massive portion. I’d rather drive to silverdale or Bremerton to have the exact same dishes made with better quality, just the right amount of food & prices that can’t be beat. Just an idea what you’ll pay @ Bentos for a family of 4 for teriyaki dishes without drinks $ 50.00 Not worth it.

When I need a quick Korean food fix when in Sequim, this is where we go. Come to think of it, this might be the only place we go to lunch in Sequim! My personal favorites here are the Bibim Bap and the Tofu Soup(chigae). The Bibim Bap is cooked in a clay pot, so it gets that nice crust on the bottom of the rice. The sauce is just right, not too sweet like I have experienced at other places, and they are generous with the veggies. You must eat this dish there, though, to get the full experience. It’s not the same in a to go box. The tofu soup is comforting and delicious, perfect on a cold day. And don’t forget the kimchi as a side! My husband says they have the best sesame chicken here, and I have to agree. It’s still crispy and not completely drenched in sauce. Yes, it’s a tad bit pricier, but I’m happy to pay a little extra when the quality is this good.

At first, I had no idea why teriyaki for 3 people was $ 40 but as soon as I saw the portions, I knew why. I have never seen such large portions at a teriyaki place. EVER. My Mom and I had a bento box and my Dad had a chicken dish with salad and rice. There must have been 3 large scoops of rice… and more meat on a plate than I’ve ever seen. The bento boxes came with rice, california rolls,(4 pieces) vegetable tempura, one shrimp tempura, salad, miso soup, and teriyaki chicken. Everything was really good — and I had leftovers for a day. The only thing that I didn’t love was the really creepy art on the walls. I feel bad because I’m sure this is someone’s pride and joy(we saw the artist in the restaurant moving around his work) but some of them were just plain weird. This place was hopping… on a week day, there was a line almost out the door. And it wasn’t even dinner time yet!
