Stopped in for the first time for lunch. We found it through Unilocal.Had burgers and BLT. Both very tasty. Service was excellent. Very warm and friendly. Food was good, prices fair and the staff is friendly. Going back for breakfast before we get on the road home.

One of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a great while. Took hubby here for Father’s Day. Looking forward to our next visit! Yum!!!

Great hospitality and a wonderfully prepared breakfast. Owner and waitress were very nice as were the regulars who welcomed our party of 10 motorcycle riders.

This is the second year in a row that I have stopped by this place on my way to scamp. This year I was with 2 fellow traveers who have not eaten here before. Going to summer camp they were a little worried when the saw the sign that said hippies enter through the side door, but they welcomed us with open arms. I had the bng again, and it was again, amazing and freshly prepared right when I ordered it. It took a good 20 minutes for the food to come out, but it was worth it. My traveling companions had burgers as they were kinda hung over. They said they were also excellent. Apparently this building was here from the early 1900s. Before the interstate it got a lot more business, I hope that I can drive more people to come in and keep gems like this place open.

everything we ordered was fresh & delicious. Their homemade berry pie is the best thing I’ve had in a long husband enjoyed their pork tenderloin. I enjoyed their biscuit & gravy. helps that the staff are just all around lovely people.

Besides the bank next door, the only walk-in business establishment in the town. The best part was the small interior. So much character and history on the walls. The inside felt like a smaller version of The Lunchbox from Roseanne. I got the farmer’s special(3 eggs, ham, diced potatoes, onions, & cheese) for $ 5.49. Not too bad. Breakfast menu lineup consisted of eggs, pancakes, omelets, french toast, and biscuits & gravy while dinner seemed to be mostly burgers but are always changing things up on the menu daily if you check out their facebook page. Its definitely one of those places where everybody knew everybody as the owner knew every patron, well, except me of course. Hours were rather limited if you’re not a morning individual like myself. I’d come back inbetween my trips to Woodhaven.
