We had my 3 year old sons bday party here and it was fantastic! Everyone had a great time! We had a large party, about 30 kids ranging in ages from 1 – 10. Everyone loved it! The staff was so easy to work with before and during the party. Very accommodating! The girls who ran the party kept the kids engaged and entertained throughout. Would highly recommend!

Came for their Harvest«Fair» and it was totally lame. First off, they only had one vendor and as far as food: burgers, hot dogs and corn only. They have goats, a bull, sheep, chickens, rabbit and a pig. There was a minuscule pumpkin patch as well. Only thing decent was the hay ride. They could’ve chosen a more festive live music band instead of the practically unlistenable folk group they had. Let’s just say if they have this«fair» or «festival» next year, my family won’t be attending. It wasn’t worth the $ 8 admission.

Big fan of this place. Had no idea it was 5 minutes from my house until we were looking for something to do nearby with our toddler. We had a great time. Everyone we spoke to was very nice and eager to answer questions. There’s lots of animals and some fun activities for the kids. When we were there there was a local vendor selling homemade jams that were fantastic also. Definitely recommend giving them a visit if you’re in the area and have small children who like animals. Thumbs up.

Complete rip-off…grossly overcharge you to enter. For a family with a few kids not a good value for your dollar. Not much to do… animals do not look well taken care of… they claim to be a working farm but you could have fooled me. It’s like some guy… Ol’ Man Benner… has a big piece of property… slaps on a pair of overalls… and charges you to walk around his run down acreage… they advertise they have games, hay rides, performers… yeah? so where was all this stuff cause I didn’t see any of it and I was not alone on that. When I overhead a disgruntled couple of grandparents asking the«staff» where all the advertised stuff was… they were told they didn’t walk far enough… well…you’d have to walk to the next state to find it I thought. Windy Acres Farms is where you want to go… a real working farm… plenty of rides, games, corn mazes, hay rides, petting zoo… that place is legit and a great experience for your children… and you won’t feel ripped off… no entrance fee!!!

When your driving around aimlessly looking for Mother’s Day/Easter/Birthday flowers, consider Benners Farm. I’ve lived in the area for over twenty years and have seen the neighbors on Spring Sunday mornings buying flowers. They offer school bus tours to see this working farm. They’ll show kids how to milk a cow, churn butter, pick strawberries and other country farm life duties. Me? I know it’s a dangerous corner and when I see a line of cars I know someone not from the area is going to pull out and make a crazy u turn. Be careful in my neighborhood and enjoy the farm!

Had my daughter’s 5 year old birthday party here and it couldn’t have been nicer. Great fun learning experience for the kids. Chelsea the coordinator kept the kids listening and entertained. Charming farm!

I love Benner’s Farm. I just took the backyard chicken course with Jean and Bob yesterday. What a delightful place and fantastic people. They have a summer camp for children and many other activities. I may sign up for their pickling and preserving course as well. Highly recommend. Good for children and adults alike.

We came here on Easter Sunday with our two year old to pet and feed the animals. She loved petting the baby ducks, chicks, and bunnies that they brought out, and liked the goats and sheep(even though she was too scared to feed them). There was also a big, fat pig. They apparently usually have a big swing and a hayride, but they got hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. They won’t be ready for some time.
