Good good for breakfast. We go often. However last time we sat waiting for waitress for 10 minutes. They were like in space. Others served that arrived after us. We left without ordering. Not good.

Despite all of the positive reviews on here, I had an absolutely horrible time eating here. I’m from New York, down here on business, and I was searching for an authentic southern restaurant to try the food from around here. First, the service was terrible. I stood in the entrance of the restaurant and was ignored for about 5 minutes, until I finally managed to get a word in with a waitress and she told me very hesitantly that I could sit wherever I want. Then, I sat at my table for another 15 minutes until the waitress came to the table, practically threw my silverware at me, and asked what I wanted to drink. I gave them a passing grace on that because they seemed busy, and told myself the food would be worth it. I ordered, and once the food eventually came out, it was incredibly unappealing. I’m pretty sure prison food has more taste than what I received. Nothing is seasoned, nothing is cooked well, there’s no taste. I basically ate tasteless slop in my disappointment. The waitress ignored me for the rest of my time there, until I went to pay. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not from here, or if I was ignored for some particular reason, but I had an overall terrible experience. The only thing earning this restaurant one star is that the food is dirt cheap, but that’s understandable once you taste it. Made a Unilocal account just to post this, I hope the people that work there see this so they can improve.

This is the best place for breakfast! Local. Prices are fantastic. Food is gooooood, served piping hot. Biscuits are the best. Love this a.m. restaurant. Southern cookin’, lip smackin’ ;)

This was our first time here and we showed up 5 min before closing(not knowing they closed at 2pm). We were pleasantly surprised that the staff actually welcomed us and encouraged us to stay and sit down for lunch! That alone deserved 5 stars! We ate sandwiches and an omlet and everything tasted very good. I really liked their batter dipped onion rings(not breaded). We also thought they had great ice tea! The server even offered each of us an extra to-go cup to take with us since we were there at closing. She was kind and friendly(not at all what we expected sitting down 5 min before closing)! That was very much appreciated and we will definitely be back! Looking forward to it!

Good food and very nice people. We were coming back from the beach and decided to stop by based on the reviews. We were not disapointed at all!

The Server that we had was not very friendly. The food was good but I do like my toast buttered so that it melts. They served dry toast with a butter pack on the side. It is a clean restaurant but very very loud. Dishes clanging along with loud conversations. They need noise dampening materials to absorb noise.

Great breakfast at a great price. The food is good diner food, but that’s what is suppose to be. I had sandwiches for lunch and they were good with plenty of sides to choose from. The staff if very attentive and I love they way they all help each other, no customer is left to look for more coffee by waiting for«their» wait person, the coffee is in the pot coming you way with the next waiter/waitress.

Thanks to the staff for serving my husband and me 30 minutes prior to closing. Great service and a special thanks to Ray, the cook.

Food is edible, but nothing special. Every server I’ve encountered has been either moderately or extremely rude(last time, two waitresses loudly joked about how fake their smiles to customers were). If I were you, I’d just go to McDonald’s.

First time customer and I got the ribeye sandwich, roasted potatoes, and sweet tea. They were delicious! The steak and potatoes were seasoned perfectly and the sweet tea was the best! Definitely be back soon!

I love this place! I always take my 3 boys in with me and we get the same thing every time we go. I get the biscuits and gravy, the best I have ever had! And my boys share pancakes, sausage and eggs, and they always clean their plates! All of the waitresses know us and are very friendly and make small talk with my kids.

This place tastes and feels almost exactly like Mac’s – the restaurant that was there before. I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Neither was impressive. The grilled cheese was maximally cheap. It tasted like grocery-store brand cheese on cheap, buttery white bread. Worse, though, was my(canned) tomato soup: it couldn’t have been hotter than 80 degrees. Anyway, the food was alright, and it was cheap. I guess that’s what I expect when I’m eating on the side of 211, far away from anything else. So 3 stars.

I’m a firm believer that you can judge a restuarant by it’s parking lot. Generally, if it’s full at peak meal hours, it’s a good sign! And Greenebow’s food definitely didn’t disappoint! I ate lunch at Greenebow’s this past Sunday. I pulled in to a full parking lot and several people waiting for a booth to sit down. Since I was by myself, I sat at the bar and was soon greeted by a very nice waitress and both owners(Talk about your southern hospitality!). :) Although Greenebow’s serves breakfast all day, I was more in the mood for some old-fashioned Southern lunch. There were at least 8 vegetables to choose from and 3 or 4 different meats. I had the chicken casserole, green beans, corn, and sweet potato casserole. Everything was delicious! I definitely recommend the chicken casserole(home-made and tastes like my grandmother made it!) and the sweet potato casserole(so good-I ate this as my dessert!). Not only was the food delicious, but the service was top-notch. The waitresses were all very friendly, and you could tell they were enjoying themselves. Both the owners came over and chatted, and I could tell they really cared about their customers’ satisfaction. Next time you’re close to Seven Lakes, NC I definitely recommend stopping into Greenebow’s for breakfast or lunch. You won’t be disappointed!

This is a great place for breakfast, they are open 6a.m. To 2p.m. and serve breakfast any time. The staff is really great, good service and friendly. This is my favorite place for breakfast in the area. I cannot say anything about the lunch menu as I always order off the breakfast side of the menu
