We had a great experience w/RDC. Our lawnmower wouldn’t work after sitting in the shed all winter. The guy came out to our house and fixed it in our garage. He also took a look at our pressure washer. Would definitely use him again.

I don’t like writing bad reviews, however. We had a five year old riding mower with a dirty carburetor due to being in storage. Just needed it cleaned and a spring looked at. The guy was on time and polite, and said work was guaranteed. Well, turns out after cleaning it ran that day but on next use is just dumping gas into the engine, mower no longer runs. Getting him back out to look two weeks later(after a couple missed appts) and lo, there is an additional charge! Unfortunately my husband paid, and the mower still does not run. We will be paying to have it transported to the business used by lowes, who btw will fix it for less than we paid initially not to mention the additional charges for«guaranteed» work and parts that seem to have only made matters worse. Would not use this business again.

I had a wonderful experience with RDC! Bobby(the owner) came straight to my house to fix our weed wacker. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. My 5 year old daughter came out and he also talked with her. She has special needs and he treated her so kindly. After he completed the fix of our weed wacker, I asked him what I owed him. He looked at me and told me that it was going to be free of charge and to please use the money to take care of my daughters needs. I was beside myself and shocked and insisted on paying him… to no avail. He was adamant and I was very grateful! Brought back my faith in humanity!!! For the record, the weed wacker is working great! Very appreciative and thankful there are good people out there!

I had a riding mower that wouldn’t start, and called RDC thinking I would have to haul the mower to the shop and wait for a week to get it back. I was wrong. A repairman was at my house that evening and had my mower running in little more than an hour. What’s more is he noticed that the blades needed sharpening and agreed to come back the next day and take care of it for me. I couldn’t have asked for better service or a better price.

Well, our generator quit on us before all of 2011’s earthquake and hurricane nonsense. Luckily we got through it all fine, but then afterwards we started hunting around for a place to get it running again. My small engine repair skills generally involve repeated attempts to start the device while I make up new combinations of words that describe my current emotions. This approach, while cathartic, has been empirically ineffective to date. Luckily Bobby, the proprietor of RDC Small Engine and Mower Repair, seems to have a more advanced technique that involves«tools». He had the thing fixed and running in less than 24 hours, even though he appears to have a constant stream of business. I take this as a good sign. Bobby’s initial estimate was low(for which he apologized) and, while the work was a little more expensive than we thought it would be, it was done so quickly and effectively that I’m OK with it. Also given the aforementioned stream of business, I’m guessing that his prices are reasonably in-line with reality. I’ll probably bring some other things over at some point. Big note here — CASHONLY. Let me say it again, with emphasis: ***CASHONLY***
