Delivery was very fast and friendly. Prices aren’t great for food quality. The beef and broccoli seemed kind of watery weird and the egg drop soup seemed coagulated like it was microwave reheated. Not a very good experience for me.

I’ve dined here twice now and have had a good experience both times. First time I had the General Tsos chicken lunch special. Nice flavor and big chunks of white meat. Second time, I had the sesame chicken lunch special. Not as appetizing as the General Tsos but still good. Good prices and a good portion for lunch prices.

As there is NO good Chinese food in Annapolis, this is actually the closest decent place. The service is quick and friendly. And it’s good! For example, the sesame chicken is almost all large pieces of white meet with just enough breading. It’s good enough to drive roughly 20 minutes for take out.

Best Chinese food we can find in the AAC area. It’s consistently good, which is a huge plus. And not be gross, but I never come home to rush to the toilet after. Sorry. You know it’s true. But to be serious, the food is delicious, particularly the General Tso’s chicken which is white meat and so crispy and spicy. Everything we order is usually very delicious and the service is great. The only reason I took away one star was because I wish they offered fountain drinks. No matter what, we will return again and again.

Definitely one of the better places for Chinese in the area. We always order steamed dumplings, egg rolls, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, and Chicken Lo Mein. We ordered take out. Delivery time was average, a little over 30 minutes. The food was not greasy and was delivered pipping hot. Thumbs up. We only had two complaints, the beef and broccoli lacked flavor and the steamed dumplings needed more meat. Other than that it was very good. This is our new go to when we are in the mood for Chinese.

The food was great, five stars for the food. All white meat chicken and the pieces were big. Price was fair for what you get. My only complaint was the delivery driver. I paid with a credit card but tipped with cash. This person evidently dropped it outside their car and didn’t see it, came back to my door to ask me if I «meant to stiff them on the tip». I explained I handed them cash with the signed receipt and offered to help look for it. We found it on the ground outside their car. I was fairly annoyed because a tip is a gratuity, not a requirement. I did tip, but even if I hadn’t it seems poor form to come back and ask for it. Will not get delivery again, 1 star for delivery, but will pick up because the food was worth it.

We’ve ordered three times and each time the food arrives quickly. The chicken is fantastic. They only use large chunks of white meat chicken and the sauces haven’t been greasy at all. Overall this is one of the best Chinese food restaurants we have ever ordered from.

Pretty great Chinese food. The only downside is they are pretty expensive. They have coupons, generally need them to make this place reasonable.

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had! All white meat chicken. Amazing service, and you can bring your own wine. It’s a must go!

How this place has 4.5 stars, I have no clue why… Nice driver and quick delivery and the food tasted okay. BUT… — The Hunan Chicken was SO greasy(see photo) and had what looked and tasted like canned mushrooms. The grease was so bad that I could feel it all over me after eating — The fried noodles(that come with soup) are the store-bought kind. — The tofu dish we got didn’t have fried tofu, as they told us over the phone. It was the soft mushy tofu we don’t like. We specifically asked, twice. I hate places that seem to tell you what you want to hear. Feeling super gross after this meal. Definitely not ordering from here again… DH got it for me since I was home alone with our babe. Big mistake.

I’ve ordered from here twice, once my mom and I, another my dad ordered for himself, my mom and I. All five meals were well loved. I had mapo tofu which was spicy goodness. My mom had some lunch special with scallops and tasting one I almost wish I got that instead. Both of us liked the hot and sour soup. The next time my dad went with General Tso’s which is his meal to gauge a return visit. Loved it. My mom got some kind of noodles which she liked. I got egg drop soup which I loved. I like it thick and yellow and salty. Their hot and sour is thick spicy and sour. This time I got shrimp in hot sauce. It was like a thinner spicy ketchup sauce. Pretty darn good. Definitely my new local goto when I am in the area and my dad announced they have a new chinese spot. BOOM. Unilocal does it again.

Ordered take out dishes for six people. Varied tastes. Everyone was very pleased with the quality and enjoyed the food. General zao’s chicken had a good amount of hot peppers and was particularly tasty.

Had our inaugural delivery experience with Ming’s and all was well. Delivery early on a Friday evening in about 25 minutes. Food was tasty all around and pricing was good. We liked all of our choices — orange chicken, moo shu chicken, and tofu lo mein. They don’t list tofu but you can get dishes made with it. Definitely something we’ll be ordering again.

Went here for the first time based on Unilocal reviews. We shared the following dishes. Hot & Sour Soup, Shrimp Rolls, Egg Rolls, Szechwan Chicken and Sesame Chicken. First, the service, possibly some of the nicest people you will encounter in a restaurant. Made it a nicer experience. Décor is nothing fancy. We ate in at the restaurant. Food came out quickly and service was excellent. The food, was great, almost everything tried came back with the same responses, «best in a long time» or «best ever»… Wish they would have given us some fortune cookies. However, if that was the worst thing, then we were doing good.

We just moved to Arnold and wanted to find a good Chinese/Japanese delivery in this area. We had a small menu for this place so I called. The woman who answered was very nice and said since we were kind of far it may take longer than usual for delivery since it was raining and she only had one driver. I appreciated her honesty. We placed our order. It did NOT take an hour. Maybe 20 minutes to arrive. The food was absolutely delicious! We found our delivery place for Asian cuisine!!! I am pretty picky with my food. I did not have to add any sauce to my chow mien. My son loved his chicken and broccoli. My husband got general tsu’s and it was great he said. The egg rolls are the best I have had in years. Definitely would have been worth an hour wait… If we had to wait that long. LOVETHISPLACE!!!

I’m posting this again for this location, since the old No. 1 reviews were showing. Don’t mind the old reviews for No. 1 Chinese. Since switching ownership from No. 1 to now Ming’s Café, this is BYFAR the best Chinese option in Severna Park, and quite honestly some of the best I’ve had. It is always fresh, and the owner is very friendly and dedicated. My staple was the Crispy Beef, Szeshuan Inn style, but trying to cut back on the calories. I have tried all sorts of other options, and they are always superb. Recently, the new owner has really put some time into redoing the interior, making it a dine-in location. I haven’t visited for dining in, yet, but will update with my experience when I do. Currently it is BYOB, so don’t forget to bring the beer/wine. I HIGHLY recommend Ming’s Café; you will not be disappointed.

New restaurant in the former Number 1 Chinese space. The previous food was OK but a bit heavy on five spice for my liking. I have tried the new Ming Café now twice and it is my new favorite for the area. I tend to choose the spicy dishes and here they really are good and spicy. You don’t have to ask to turn up the heat. Very tasty Kung Pao, Szechuan Tofu, hot and sour soup(though somewhat thick), Crispy Beef, and Sha Chien. Good dumplings and egg rolls. Well recommended if you have not tried it since the new owners and presumably new chefs. Take out only but planning a small seating area per their website.

Under new ownership/management! They offer a more simplified menu but with all the traditional favorites and some new combinations. Food is fresh and higher quality than previous. Prices are very reasonable. Great surprise!!!
