Yet another very quick and fair priced tube replacement. In and out in 15 minutes(I was the first customer of the day). $ 13, and hopefully we don’t bust any more tubes any time soon… but that’s my problem.

The shop is good for BMX and kids bikes. Rod is a good guy and stands behind his products and service. However, the technical ability of the shop is inadequate for more advanced riders(both mountain and road). I have taken my bikes in to the shop for check-ups, tune-ups, and repairs and I always find that they missed something or didn’t quite do something correctly. If you’re just going to look at kids bikes or get your old cruiser or hybrid tuned up, it is a great neighborhood shop. But if you’re looking for technical expertise, the kids in the back are not what you need.

ROOODDDDDDDDD. What’s been said is true; Pedal Pushers is an institution and Rod is the man. No matter what kind of bike you’ve got; no matter how old, or high-end, or rusted, or fast, or obsolete, or French, or expensive, or generally fouled up, Pedal Pushers is where you want to go for it’s basic upkeep, bicycle knowledge, and general velo-centric gab. Ride free!

Great friendly service. They were able to fix my problem immediately and I was very happy with the service. The dog is very cool too.

I liked Pedal Pushers quite a bit! We showed up at Pedal Pushers on a very nice weekend. There were barely enough bikes for two people, which is probably a testament more to this place’s popularity than to its supply. Still, it was a bit nerve-wracking. The bikes are pretty darn high quality — I’m not very versed in bikes in general, but what we got were perfect for the trail. I found the seat vaguely uncomfortable, but I find most seats uncomfortable, so that may not mean much. The building is directly next to the Baltimore-Annapolis Trail, so you can easily hop on once you rent a bike. The trail itself is pretty nice, though the scenery is lackluster in areas and the trail itself can be somewhat narrow.

Pedal Pushers is a Severna Park institution. Rod knows bikes inside and out. He will do what it takes to get you geared up and on your way. There is no BS a this shop, just respectful staff and good equipment. Pedal Pushers is the place to go if you want to «ride free.»

Rob is the man! Super laid back, makes you feel right at home(even though I’m as amateur to riding as they come), and he’s super knowledgable(he answered all of my rookie questions without making me feel dumb, and that made me feel good about buying from there.)!!Awesome prices, excellent service, and a cozy shop. I am a customer for life.

Guy at the counter, Rod? Very cool guy. Great place with some cool Stuff to look at. Very chill dog sleeping behind the counter is very friendly. Glad to shop here for my bike parts from now on. This local business is what we need more of in this country.

Great Shop! We can stop by anytime just roll in the back door off the trail and get fantastic service from slipping gears to greased chains to air if we need. I bought 3 bikes there 8 years ago, they are still running great and Rod is efficient in fixing anything we need at a great price… guaranteed! Great kids bikes as well.

The prices are good. The owner will negotiate a price for a bike that you have chosen. Well established in the community. Based on quality I would use the Bike Doctor because they have better products and great service.

Recently started biking again after many years. Took the bike in for a tune up, again for a flat, bought accessories a few times and took my husband’s bike in for a tune up. All trips were well worth it. They do an awesome job and know just what I need every time. Great local business!

This is definitely a 5 star shop in terms of the service and family orientation. I’ve had several mountain and road bikes serviced here and they’ve always run well afterwards. They’ll work with you too. I procrastinated and waited until the day before a big ride to get my bike serviced and they were able to turn it around for me even though it needed a ton of work(first service in 10,000 miles of riding). They’re very kid friendly — they’ve got good kids bikes and are patient with little riders. I bought a kids trailer here last summer which has been great. The owner — Rod — was very helpful in explaining how to take it apart and put it back together and helped me load it in my car. The only downside is that it’s a very small shop. If you’re a serious roadie and want to see a wide variety of high end stuff, this is not the shop for you. They don’t stock a lot in the $ 1500+ price point, but they do a good job servicing them. They also honest which is rare in a shop — I brought in an $ 8000 Specialized with a wheel problem and they told me where to take the bike(another shop) to try to get a warranty claim on it. I really appreciated that because most shops would have been happy to just take my $ 300 to service it instead of sending the biz elsewhere. One more positive… they let you bring your dogs in there. Very cool!

Some cool bikes to look at here… nothing amazing, but more interesting than bike doctor. The staff is hit or miss… but never pushy. I’ve walked in and totally been ignored when I didn’t want to be(but to their credit, they were helping other customers). I’ve tried to order a new bike there, but could never get a call back to tell me when I could expect it. I appreciate their non-racey attitude and respect for all different types of bikes.
