Don’t let the«charm» of the building scare you off: Rey’s prices were reasonable(MUCH moreso than Annapolis Seafood), and the crabs were great. I called the morning of, and Rey was able to deliver over a bushel that evening with no problem. Will definitely use him again.

Rey’s crabs are great! First place I went when I came to the area years ago. If you want crabs, that’s the place to go!

Reys crabs. have to say it was DELICIOUS. it was the first time i had had blue crabs from Maryland as i am from the south mainly Florida. was told by the people i was with this is the best place around by far, And after experiencing it myself i would have to say they are probably correct. Its just a basic seafood shack type place nothing fancy or special and it smells of ocean going creatures as u would expect. However the people there were really nice and made sure we got exactly what we were looking for. Also, the prices were quite fare, from my understanding anyway… we got medium sized soft shells for 2 bux each. i hear that a good deal. Also dined on there great steamed crabs. very very tasty. seasoned exceptionally well. All around it was a great experience, And next time i happen to be up in Maryland i will deff have to stop in again. A local treat anyone who likes crabs should try.

This tiny crab shack is the best and the most reasonable crabs I have been looking for. They serve genuine local Maryland crabs. They were nice quality, live and kicking when they go into the pot. The steamed crabs had ample Old Bay like spice, they were quality crabs like you would get in the crab shacks, except better. Their oysters are good too, but you got to figure out how to open them, or steam them like I do.

Some of the best blue crabs I have EVER had! This was my first time coming here and will not be the last. I have had many a crab and the crabs I had last night from Rey’s were some of the most impressive yet. I picked up a bushel and a half of steamed blue crabs yesterday for a birthday party and was very happy with what we got. Rey’s is just a tiny little shack on the side of the road and when we went inside we saw bushels of live crabs galore on the counter top. The crabs were all big and beautiful. Mind your fingers and keep a close eye on your kids in here because you might get a good pinch if you aren’t paying attention at the counter. It is very tiny inside and there is no seating for eating the crabs, just a counter to place and pick up your order. This is a take-out only place. We called ahead and ordered our crabs steamed instead of live and they were all boxed up and ready to go when we arrived. I was first impressed at the fact that the boxes of hot steamed crabs were clean, neatly packed, and there was no moisture dripping out of the box. Once we got home, the car was not stained with seasoning and wet like it usually is when transporting steamed crabs. We ordered a bushel and a half of jumbos and larges and they were in fact jumbos and larges, very much so. Upon eating them, everyone agreed that these were among the best crabs we have ever had. They were heavy, clean, and meaty with a perfect spiced flavor. No light crabs with half empty shells in the bunch. Seven of us ate and ate and ate and still had about a half bushel left over… which I’m now looking forward to pulling out the fridge and eating some more of after I finish typing this! The prices are also reasonable here. Give Rey’s a try if you want some top notch blue crabs!
