BUYERBEWARE: This company is full of excuses and promises! In August, Matt S. said that he would take a look of my landscape for work estimate. After 2 weeks of waiting for him to get back to me, I called to follow up. I called all SMITH’s phone numbers:(443) 370‑5833 and direct mobile(443) 370‑6206. He said that he did go and sent a work estimate to my email. I asked him to send it because I did not get it as he said he did, but in the second request I still did not get the work estimate by email. I called several times between Aug-Sep to set up work appointment but they never returned my request. When I finally got a hold of somebody, somebody replied in social media that they no longer service in my neck of the woods because their workers could not find parking for the truck. The fact is — there is a visitor’s parking spot near my house for a truck. Another excuse for not returning my calls was that the voice messages I left were not clear(insulted me to how I conduct myself in business) and therefore, they could not write down my phone numbers to call me back. The fact is — I am very clear when I leave messages especially my phone numbers — cell phone and work numbers. Another fact is that I contacted them several times via emails and their website and typed in my phone numbers. Tell me, how can anybody miss that? Another excuse is they said that they could not reach me because every time I call, my caller id was not showing in their caller id screen(so what!). Why is this so hard to figure out about calling and letting people know whether they can do the job? Why it took 2 months of chasing them to get an appointment but only to get many excuses after their promises? This is bad business practice. TBOT needs to get their act together and not lies of how difficult for them to contact me or to park in my house when in fact this is not true. Lazy gardeners/lawn/landscapers don’t need to work in this type of business. Only hard working, trustworthy business people can truly do a professional work without so many excuses. I want my money back! This justifes that customers are wrong but I do believe what I read when customers recount their experiences as I experienced the same — their lack of CUSTOMERCARE. I am very good in my job of doing business so for SMITHS, to negatively reply after 2 months of chasing them is a lot of BSEXCUSES. JUDGEMENT: Do not do business with TBOT — they are growing pains and not handy at all. 100% NOTRECOMMENDED. ZERO% LACKOFLAWNCAREPROFESSIONALISM. You will encounter troubles/problems with this family business.
