Visited this shop while on a trip with my husband. We were both in shock of how RUDE the staff was. We came in over an hour before closing in search of some treasures to bring back as gifts for friends and family. We were not greeted by staff(one woman was leaning for the counter being miserable, another was vacuuming and the other just followed us around the store hawk eying us like we were criminals), I greeted hawk eye woman«hey! How’s it going?» Which she answered with an eye roll(she may of seen her brain), a sigh and no words. We were so uncomfortable we decided to leave. Don’t bother making a stop here, there are similar and much cuter stores like this I’m Pidgeon Forge.

Cherokee Trading Post My wife and I stopped in to look at jewelry and moccasins in her store, we had been there before and was treated very kindly, THISTIMEMYWIFEWASFOLLOWEDAROUNDBYTHESTOREOWNERWHO, WHENWEWERELEAVINGTOLDUSNEVERTOCOMEBACKIN! WHY? WEASK, SHEWOULDNOTTELLUSANDTOLDUSWEWERENOLONGERWELCOME. We ask that she tell us why again she would not say. Needless to say we were shocked and very embarrassed as it was in front of many people. This woman followed my wife around, saying just loud enough for my wife to hear«I hate thieves» my wife was looking and thought she was talking to someone else. The woman kept following my wife and repeating it several times so that just about everyone in the store could hear. We repeatedly asked what we did as she implied that we were stealing from the store. We ask several times for her to call the police she said she was going to. It is a crime to accuse anyone of an criminal offense. Needless to say when she threatened us with physical harm by saying there is a man in here and you had better go before she calls him. OK that having been said I would strongly advise anyone who even considers going in the Cherokee Trading Post to beware because if it’s snowing outside and you’re wearing a coat you will be accused of stealing.
