I’m not sure I liked the food that much, but I really enjoyed the professional service. They allow dogs in their outside seating, and that’s mostly the reason we chose it. For the price, they actually offer a great deal on food. Wort a try if nearby and looking for a decent diner

Classic diner fare. I had the chicken and dumplings. Clean and classic. The chili was the«stick to your ribs variety». Both kids had the kids pizza and ate it all. My wife got the chef salad and it was quite large. I would go back. Total bill was ~$ 35

The place was great good food especially if you want to try a elk or buffalo meat burger. The prices were reasonable as well. A must stop if you’re in the area.

I have no idea how, I know I can’t do it, the Cook here, can make over-easy-eggs perfect. Got a love this place.

We stopped here after spending the day at Dollywood. If you review the Unilocal reviews you’ll see its hit and miss and that, IMO, sums it up. I had the fried catfish and double order of fried green tomatoes. The fish was as bland as it gets. There wasn’t any flavor– very neutral. The fried green tomatoes were greasy and very disappointing. My meal was not worth eating. However the rest of the party loved their hamburgers– didn’t catch the name of the burgers sorry The one bright spot — our waitress was awesome and for some odd reason I can’t remember her name. Overall the food is hit and miss but it seems the hamburgers are a hit.

We like trying local restaurants when we travel. The staff was outstanding and food was great. Our 3 kids said the pancakes and eggs were really good. I’d have to agree even though I had the vegetable omelet. We would definitely come back here again.

Excellent service and food. Reminds me of day gone by. Reubens and roast beef were good. Liver was also. Best peanut butter malt I’ve had in years.

I picked up an order to go and was pleasantly surprised with the bacon burger. My girlfriend had the chili cheese fries with bacon and ask for jalapenos on top. What a great pair for a nice hot snack. I also had the bread pudding with the rum sauce. The diner is a neat little establishment and I wish I would have eaten inside verses taking my food across the street to the Hampton. I will definitely visit them again there. Try it out for yourself and I think that you will enjoy your meal.

Great food nice staff. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because no one is perfect. They do close at ten during week. Definitely going again without waiting at the over price places. Great food fair prices.

Well, after 20+ minutes of waiting to give someone our order and trying unsuccessfully to get someone’s attention, ANYONE’s attention, we left for the Cracker Barrel down the road…

Retro-looking diner in the parking lot in front of Lowes. Varied menu, breakfast available all day. Reasonable prices, good food, plenty of food, very good service.

I wasn’t a fan of this place. A coworker and I went here for dinner. There aren’t a whole lot of options except for national chain stuff. We almost went to Ruby Tuesday, but I wanted to try something new. The place wasn’t very clean and the only other patrons weren’t exactly the classiest looking bunch around. The food was barely average. My Wyoming omelet was greasy and salty, the grits were served lukewarm, and the pancake was pretty good. I will say the omelet was loaded with ingredients, but the sausage was way salty and nothing else really had any flavor. I also got dessert, the turtle brownie, and it was really sugary, but not bad. I wouldn’t come here again. Service was very slow, the place seemed dirty, and the food was below average. Any Denny’s I have been to is better than this place. When we left, I noticed there was a Thai food and Mexican food place right behind here. I would choose one of those over this place next time.

Good, solid performance. Bowl of chili was tasty and HUGE, unless you’re starving, order the cup. I had breakfast for lunch, standard fare; nothing to write home about. The burger was also good with a side of fries. A right-down-the-middle, 3-Star, A-OK place. Looking for a good meal, this will do the trick. Enjoy!

Absolutely amazing! I ordered a Cadillac burger and it was one of the best I ever had. My wife ordered a peppermint shake and it was THE best I’ve ever tasted. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Wait was a little longer than expected but the taste of the food made up for it.

We took a break from Sevierville traffic and stopped off at this super cute locally owned diner. We saw another review that said they had huge salads so I opted for the house and am so glad I did, super filling. We split an appetizer sampler, highly recommend the fried pickles and fried green tomatoes. The décor is very homey and dineresque, staff was very friendly.

We both had burgers for lunch. My husband had the Buffalo burger and said it seemed less greasy than a beef burger. I had the quarter pound and it seemed small. The top of the bun was served under the rest of the burger and appeared crushed. Great onion rings and generous side salad. We had such a good 1st experience bit $ 27 for 2 ice teas, Burgers, and 1 salad seems high

Wow, best banana split I have had in years. Granted I haven’t had one in years but still it was delicious. We got the one with the brownie, go big or go home! Comes with vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream topped with walnuts soaked in syrup and whipped cream. Looks impressive when it comes out, tastes just as good. We did our best between two people and we still couldn’t finish it. Even with all the sweets in the area, this might be the best we had all week.

We wound up here by accident. We had intended to visit Mel’s Diner, because of reviews we saw here, but the Mapquest app led us here, so we decided to give them a try. We were greeted warmly by several people as we entered. It’s a very family-friendly environment. We were led to a table within one minute, and our beverages were brought out right away. We visited right about 6:00 pm, so it was busy. Our server was very attentive, but during our visit, she seemed to have a couple more tables than she could comfortably handle. The wait for the food was just a bit longer than we would have liked. The food itself was standard diner fare; good, but not great. One pleasant surprise was the portion size of the salad. It was huge! And fresh. The restaurant itself was spotless, as were the restrooms. For beverages, they serve Pepsi products, although the Coca-Cola logo is prominent in the photo on the back of the menu. I guess they used to serve Coke, but switched to Pepsi to cut costs. In an area dominated by mediocre chain restaurants, it’s refreshing to see a place like The Diner doing well.

Cute little throw back diner. Good variety menu(in addition to sandwiches and burgers). Kids menu and dessert menu. The have a juke box with some good tunes. I was impressed with the community involvement. The day were there they had had a Saint Patrick day community fundraiser of some sort. All the staff were wearing some sort of green. Our waiter was a hoot he looked like a hip leprechaun. Sorry to say the portions are plentiful enough that we didn’t get to try any of the scrumptious looking desserts. Next time I am in the area I will be revisiting and might just go FOR dessert only! Great spot to take a few photos for the travel album!

Cool fifties style diner! I’m a theme kind of girl so when we passed this back in time diner while looking for a place to eat lunch it was a definite stop. Even though there were many tempting choices on the menu I went with a burger and fries for my first visit. They were very good and hit the spot for lunch. I can’t wait for our next visit to the area to try the meatloaf. The service was good just not very fast. If you only have an hour for lunch then you may want to go elsewhere or call ahead. If you aren’t in a hurry then this is a great lunch spot.
