One of the nicest gift store/​galleries I’ve ever been to! It is a Sewanee institution with an eclectic mix of knick knacks and folk art. The owner is passionate about supporting local artisans and American made products (and has been for 40+ years).
As an artist herself, she sees the value in handmade items and hand selects them for her store.
In a world of chain stores, I find The Lemon Fair to be a truly refreshing change.

Rather snide and unhelpful for a store that charges double or more what items are worth. The items they have are genuinely fun and eclectic, with lots of hand — made arts and crafts pieces. The owner reminds me more of a grouch from Maine than a welcoming example of Southern hospitality.
