I had a terrible experience with Tom Recchiutti from Acme Home Appliance today. He had fixed our washer several months ago and we were having the same issue again. He came out to fix it and said that we would not be charged for the appointment. My husband asked him how long he thought the washer would last, and he misunderstood him and thought he said «how long will this last this time». Even if he did say that, which he didn’t, Tom’s response was verbally abusive. He told me husband he «better not get smart with him» and continued arguing that my husband insulted him. My husband tried to explain but Tom would not listen and was very heated in his arguing. My husband went to the sink to strain pasta and Tom screamed that «he better look at his face when he is talking to him» I asked Tom to please leave because my children were crying and scared and he refused to leave. I had to threaten to call the police several times and pick up my phone to call them, before he would finally leave. Then he shouted to me from outside my house that he would send me a bill. It was shocking and scary and people should really not let this man into their homes.
