PJ’s used to be one of our favorites for both eat-in and take-out. Sadly, the quality has gone downhill over the past year or so. We recently ordered the kale artichoke dip, and could not even eat it, as it was just a glob of salty, fatty, unrecognizable«UN-APPETIZER»! Obviously, there is no pride taken by the chef, in what is sent out of the kitchen… Also, the service is is frequently inept; they almost always manage to screw up the order, and are usually out of something on the menu. Time to find a new favorite place!

The space here is fantastic! They have outdoor seating and a large bar, they have plenty of indoor seating and a huge bar! A great place for watching the games or grabbing a bite to eat. They have awesome wings! Great crab fries and other regular bar food.

Atmosphere is upbeat & waitresses/bar tenders are nice to look at but that’s about all this place has to offer. Food is horrible & totally over priced. Lemonade taste like mildew. Fountain soda is flat & taste like water. The stacked bacon burger didn’t have any bacon on it, roll was mushy & the beef patty is small & flavorless. The mozzarella sticks were hard & dried out. The wings were OK. We did enjoy their house/crab fries but we have had better. The Village Pub in Washington Township is far better.

This location was ok. Wasn’t what I expected coming from visiting other locations. The food was ok, came out room temperature. The beer was good. The waitress was ok, just not to attentive to us.

I love this place. My fiancé and I moved to Washington township last year. Food is great, good music, beer and crowd. We 85% of the time have good waitstaff and bar service. However, we were there tonight, a Thursday night and sat at the bar and it was awful! The one bartender was drinking water after he saw us sit down and continued to wait a good 5 – 7 minutes to be waited on. I look around the bar and it’s a mess with dirty glasses and plates. They seem to be more concerned with service bar and the wait staff rather than their customers. My fiancé and I both work in the restaurant business so perhaps we critique more than we should but I was just flat out disappointed tonight.

Once again, not happy w wings, lots of breading, no meat. Wedge salad was just a half of lettuce w a teaspoon of tomatoes, little bit of bacon and not so good dressing. Inside looks great, nice bar, friendly waitresses, but go to drink and socialize, skip the food.

Always hear a good experience here. Eaten here countless times. We always sit at the bar. Service is always good. They have a ton of draft beer options. And I really like the food. I think the salmon is great. I also like the crab cake sandwiches and burgers. They offer so many different options for fries. Sweet potato are my go to. Doesn’t matter what location I go to. I have liked them all.

It’s an absolute horrible experience here, just trying to relax, eat and watch some football. PJs is allowing all these kids to walk around to every table and bar stool and beg for money to support their youth teams. We all have kids and expenses. Allowing people to walk around your establishment and beg your patrons for money, throughout the day, is a disgrace. Do you think families want to be interrupted by strangers begging for money during their outing? This is an absolute disgrace to allow this to happen to your patrons.

Went there today for the Tuesdaywing special and was very disappointed the wings were undercooked meat onetime and wingetts very chewy and moist very apperant nocooked properly told server and wing order was taken off my tab was looking for a good meal not a free one they boat that they are the wing bowl wings of choice well if a contestant would have eaten 50 or 60 of what was served to me today they would spend most of the night on the toilet .I usually go at least twice a week for the banging chilie but tried the wings also wrong move today lesson learned half price shouldn’t mean less qualiy product served. Guess ill take a week or two off and spend my $ 30 dollars at another local watery. cocktails are top notch so trip was worth the effort but still somewhat dissappointed with my dineing experience today

This is an awesome restaurant! Great music and the levels are just right. The music is clear and loud enough to hear to enjoy but also not so loud that you can’t talk to people at the table. I really like the design of the place and the staff is friendly. I can’t wait to go back!

The food and drinks were fine, the service was terrible. We ordered several drinks and the bartender Stefanie had an attitude about it and then ignored us for about an hour. The other bartenders were snobby too and put a fake smile on when they took our money.

Not worth the prices. Our burgers came out rare when we ordered medium. Sent them back no discount and had wait another 15 mins. Not impressed and will not be back. The highlight is their cheese sauce.

The only decent place in town; regardless the reviews, the place was packed earlier today! Fish taco is always good for me; and of course along with my blue moon. Hot wings are pretty awesome also! Overall, it’s an pretty good place in Washington Twp!

Ever since they decided to renovate the place has not been the same. The service sucks and so does the food. In the past years the all you can eat crab was worth it but now they take forever to bring out the next round and they don’t service you like the other nights when it’s not all you can eat. Enjoyed my first visit to PJ Whelihands. The food was tasty and the service was good. No over the top gimmicks. Just good food. They’re tv’s every where so I’m sure if there’s a game on they’re playing it. They have two large bars so you’re drinks come out quick & cold.

Yikes! First of all, I like this place-BUT– the bar staff needs some training. I don’t blame them. I blame management. Ordered an 11 ounce pour of a Neshaminy triple. It came in an 8 oz Brady snifter. I give them points for knowing that it should be in a chalice type glass as it is a Belgian inspired beer but don’t cheat the customer of 3 oz. when I questioned it the response was«we do this all the time.» Then ordered a 12 year old Elijah Craig bourbon straight up. The bartender put it in a shaker with ice and poured into a martini glass. I give this place great credit for having knob creek, woodford reserve, and Elijah Craig available. Can’t find a line up like that anywhere around here, but the staff should be trained. Food by the way is excellent.

This particular PJs is always a hit or miss for me and usually it’s because of their service. On this Wednesday evening we had a really fabulous meal. The restaurant was quite crowded for a Wednesday at 7pm, but our server was quick and friendly. My husband I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and salad(hot & honey). My buffalo wrap did not have any sauce on it but not a big deal because my server quickly got me a side of sauce to dip. The waffle fries were on point this time as well. I hope it keeps up its 4 star service and quality!

I’ve been going to various PJ’s in south Jersey for years and they’re all the same… slightly better than average and a good place to watch a game. The food here isn’t going to blow you mind and it’s really what most people would refer to as «typical bar food» — burgers, wings, wraps, sandwiches, etc. However that doesn’t make it bad. The wings are fine and the burgers are good — I wouldn’t stray too far off the beaten path here though. What’s I personally like about PJ’s is that it’s not your same old Bud, Coors, Miller bar. They actually do have a pretty varied(and seasonal) selection of beers. It’s not quite on the same level as a Millers Ale House, but there’s enough types of beer on their menu to get you through a Sunday or football or an afternoon and evening of hockey games. PJ’s is definitely good for watching sports though. If you’re a casual fan and want to watch from the comfort of a booth or table you can do so, but if you want to grab a couple seats at the bar and immerse yourself in tv’s full of sports, that option is most definitely there too. On top of that, the waitresses are always accommodating and will gladly switch to a particular game, Also, they have live music on some Saturday nights and some of the bands they book are actually pretty good. I wouldn’t make big, grandiose plans for a night at PJ’s, but if there’s not a ton going on, you want to try a few different beers or if you’re looking for a place to watch some games, I would definitely recommend PJ’s.
