virtu is absolutely elegant and tremendous !!!
I was walked upstairs by the ass’t mgr for my ‘balancing’ massage appointment with Katie K., which began promptly, after I changed into my robe and slippers.
The whole facility is simply beautiful. The décor is done in muted earth tone colors and tranquil music plays softly throughout.
Katie applied the perfect pressure throughout the whole massage. I thought I was going to drool when she was massaging my feet, hands and back!
You are started face up (undies on!) and then once you are asked to lay face down, the ‘O’ pillow your face goes through is actually comfy and I didn’t have marks on my sensitive skin like I do from every other place.
When Katie was finished, I changed and was greeted by her again right outside the door w/​a glass of nice cold lemon infused water. Ahhhhhh!
I then changed and proceeded downstairs to pay. There is no inconvenient chasing your masseuse to give her the tip. There are tiny manila envelopes that you put your masseuse’s name on then slide it into her corresponding slot. Nice!
virtua is flawless. I left ultra relaxed and not sore one iota! I can’t afford going often (today was 80% on gift cards) but am looking very forward to my next massage :)

Much better than expected, the spa here is on par with a high end hotel or resort. I enjoyed a great deep tissue massage and my wife got a hot stone treatment. We were able to do a couples massage in the same room. The facilities are top notch with steam rooms, sauna and private showers. This is probably the best spa in south jersey, inclusive of Rizzeri which would be my second choice.

I came here to treat my friend for her birthday, and this is by far the BEST spa I’ve ever been to in my entire life. The moment you walk in the receptionist greets you with a smile. The staff was very helpful with giving us ideas on what massage we would prefer. Marjorie was AMAZING! She gave us a tour, accompanied us with anything we needed. The massage I had was the balance aromatherapy. You can decide if you want it light, medium, or firm. I chose the medium, but next time I will probably choose firm given the fact I work out a lot, and I’m always on my feet. I appreciate EVERYTHING these wonderful ladies did by accommodating me on this spectacular journey of rest and relaxation. I can’t wait to come back here.

This is the only place I go for facials. Every time I stray I wonder why I even bothered. The check-​in/​out area is a little loud being next to the salon, and instantly kills the zen when you go to checkout, so I took a star off for that. However, the lounge area is chill, and the staff lets you bring drinks/​snacks along with you if you’re there with a group. The facilities are clean, the robes comfy, and I can easily spend half a day here. My skin always looks great immediately afterwards too, which is surprising considering I have sensitive skin.

This place… heaven on earth! My sister and I treated my mom (and ourselves) for mom’s birthday and we were so happy we did! We each got an hour massage. I had Helene and got a balancing massage. She was wonderful and worked out several knots that I had in my neck, back& shoulders. I’ll definitely go back and request her again! The place is immaculate and smells so clean and pleasant. We sat in the steam room while we waited for our massages and were given cucumber slices for our eyes and cool towels. You feel very pampered here and I found the prices to be super reasonable! When you leave they give you a $ 10 coupon for your next visit and a little goody bag. I can’t wait to come back!

*update* I saw Julie for a prenatal massage at 38 weeks pregnant and fell in love. I used the belly pillow which allowed me to lay on my belly and took all the pressure off my back. Julie was so amazing, I couldn’t wait to get back to her after giving birth. I just saw Julie yesterday, 2 months post baby, and her regular balancing massage is even better. I didn’t want to leave after my 80 minute massage. I definitely recommend ya’ll visit Julie ASAP!

By far my favorite spa me and my husband got a couples massage the ladies were awesome and the common area is very relaxing the whole experience was a great one:)

I went here because of all the reviews exclaiming how wonderful this place was. I agree with the reviews about the atmosphere and the extra facilities that you are able to use while you are there. There were things I loved about this facility, like the way you were welcomed in, the lounge area, and all the facilities and extras available for you to use before or after your service. The problem was, when I pay the extra money I expect a much better service. I came for one thing only… a massage. I expected that after a deep tissue massage my back (specifically) would be less tight, and I would be relieved of some of the pain I was experiencing. I was wrong… I paid for a deep tissue and received what would be more of a Swedish massage. The areas I asked to be worked on, focused on, and spent the most time on were side stepped so the rest of my body could be done. Additionally, I specifically stated I did not care if the rest of my body was even touched. After experiencing that massage, I had no relief and I still needed another massage the next day. It was like I spent extra money to treat myself, but I received nothing out of it. I do get massages often… and I can definitely say smaller, cheaper places have better massage therapists than the one I experienced here. Like I said, the extra facilities were great and very pampering to experience, but if I’m coming… I’m coming for the actual service. I know after the experience of that service, I will not be returning here.

5 STARS!!! The facility is beautiful and the staff is very professional. I had a full body massage, microdermabrasion and facial. My experience was delightful! I cannot wait to go back :)

Very relaxing, friendly staff. I went in for a regular oil back message, just what I needed to get the «knots» out.

Hands down the most beautiful and comfortable spa I have ever been to.
Very friendly and attentive staff and extremely comfortable surroundings.
Give yourself time before and after your service to just relax!
You can use the eucalyptus steam room and sauna after your service.
I have even showered at Vir tu after massages. They have everything you need.
The only problem is that once I get there, I don’t want to leave!
It’s pricey, but worth it for a special treat.

Had a terrific massage from Shari at Vir Tu. Pressure exactly as I had requested and she had a nice way throughout the session. The facility is clean and nicely appointed with all necessajry amenities and more. Very nice room setting with musiic and lighting. Option for a pre sauna and post steam was a great way to round things out. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful as well.
Will definitely use Vir Tu and this therapist again. Wonderful from start to finish.

I can’t say enough about my experience at Vir Tu… I have been to most of the spa’s in South Jersey and Philadelphia and this by far I feel is one of the the nicest. Between the facilities and the services I received (Pedicure and Facial) I could not have been happier.

I have gone to Vir Tu twice. Once for a mani and once for mani/​pedi. Both times were absolutely wonderful. The spa is located inside the new Virtua medical building, but don’t let that throw you off. Once you turn the corner to enter the spa you no longer feel like you are in a medical building. The lobby is gorgeous immaculate, and modern. The people at the front desk are always lovely and welcoming. Your nail tech comes down the stairs to get you and takes you up to the spa. You are put in your own lounging room which is curtained off, has a beautiful chair and table with magazines. They offer you flavored waters, teas, etc. And somerooms have their own flat screen TV’s. Beautiful soothing music is played and the lighting is just right to put you at ease.
On both visits my mani and pedi’s were fantastic. Their technicians are top notch and everything is as clean and sanitary as it gets. The prices are right for a clean beautiful spa that doesn’t smell like chemicals and polish. And my manicures have lasted two weeks. I can’t recommend this place enough.
