We discovered this place on accident while turning around in a nearby parking lot. I didn’t go inside, but my husband felt it wasn’t very clean– pointing out that there was a large fluorescent light above the front counter covered in bugs. The food was good, though. I really loved the dumplings– exactly what I’d hoped for. Plump, steamed goodness. The shrimp lo mein was good, not fantastic. We tried the crab rangoon as well & it also hit the spot. If I can get my husband to look past some of the interior issues… I’d like to go back!

This is my Tiang Jiang secret Chinese place since moving to Oxford and in my family we are split over which one is actually better. Right now it seems Cheong has the better lo mein but different dumplings than I’m used to. Great Chicken, and the happy family had everything done perfectly. Portions are off the charts for the prices. Solid five.

Seriously the BEST Chinese food you could get anywhere, and the staff is really nice and efficient. The guy who works there always says«Have a good night, take care.» A+ service and A+ food.

The stir fried food is light, not greasy. No MSG. It’s like Chinese home cooking. The staff is very nice. A guy I call Chinese Elvis always answers the phone. When I’ve ordered, he says, «Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you.»

I’ve been going to Cheong Hing Kitchen for nearly twenty years. Best Chinese food in the valley!
