I have been wanting to try Craven Wings for some time now. We moved here from NY45 minutes from Buffalo. We ordered the garlic wings and the hot wings. The wings were cooked perfectly and like someone else commented they took a while. Because it was a take out order I ordered the hot wings with sauce on the side to prevent them from getting soggy on the way home. Here is the reason for the 3 Stars, when I got home and opened the box it was missing the hot sauce on the side. What a disappointment, also no blue cheese. Luckily we had some Frank’s red hot on hand to make our own hot sauce as well as Blue Cheese Dressing. My suggestion for them would be to include Blue Cheese at all times. The hot sauce was an accident maybe the Blue Cheese was too. Otherwise the wings were good and the garlic wings were delicious. I would give them another try

Awesome wings, our favorite on the greater knoxville area! Takes a while to get your food but very much worth it.

First visit today at lunch time. Ordered the 10 piece fingers combo(medium sauce) w/fries for me and wifey. It was enough for the two of us, so that made it a reasonably priced lunch. Was not impressed, but will give them another try. Took 20-minutes to get my food from the time of order. Chicken fingers were swimming in sauce. I think the chicken would have been nice and crispy if they weren’t soaking in sauce. The fries were decent. I really wanted to like this place, maybe it was an off day.

Excellent wing place. We drive from knoxville to eat the wings. Their wings are fresh not frozen and the fries are freshly cut spiral fries. If you haven’t tried this place you’re missing out!

The best wings and fries around! Homemade fries and delicious wings. The new owners are the best!

The wings are fresh and meaty for sure. I got the BBQ sauce. Came smothered in it, not a bad thing. But the wings on their own would have been completely flavorless. Definitely do not get them naked. I would try them again, but average review at the moment.

When I think wings in this area, Craven Wings is my first thought. Big, meaty wings in flavorful sauces, and fries I can’t recommend highly enough. The hottest sauce is still tolerable and flavor-first, not mouth-numbing heat-first. Recent renovations are to their benefit(although I REALLY miss the TV stations that were replaced by a full-time country music station) as is the decision to stop charging for refills. Stop by for friendly service(this is NOT fast food, btw) and delicious wings.

This is in the same mall as Kroger and Tenn Nails not five minutes from my house, so I drive past it often. One day I stopped to treat myself to lunch. The service was friendly and welcoming, so I was optimistic. I always get wings naked the first time I eat somewhere so I can see what they actually do. The wings were good — big meaty wings, fried nice and crisp. The hand cut curly fries, to be honest, sucked. They were half cooked, still a little al dente in spots, greasy and cold.(I did take out or I would have returned them). The unsweet tea was great — they use Luzianne, which I have come to find is the best for iced tea. Will I go back? Probably, the wings and tea were worth a second chance. Might even try the fries again.

We recently ate here and we all enjoyed their food. We all loved their fries. I would rate it higher but disliked the idea they charged for refills after your first refill and I didn’t think their hot sauce was hot.
