Horrible in every way! Doesn’t deserve 1 star. On a business trip, I was on my way home and thought I’d stop for a quick bite to eat around 4 pm today, which is a Monday(don’t know if day of week matters). I enjoy eating at the Ryan’s restaurants normally, but this particular one is awful and way over priced. Examples: It’s hard to go through the meats one by one, but the cheapest available and possibly road kill were served. The spaghetti was so dry, it went back to its original state before cooking. I took half a bite of a tater tot — it was like it had rolled across the floor in old grease. I gave up on that area and walked over to the salad bar. Upon arrival there, I was greeted with wilted lettuce, spinach leaves that were brown … So I moved over to the baked potatoes. I thought«how could you mess up a baked potato?» Well, they found a way to do it. Cooked too much on outside and raw on inside. Nothing was edible or safe at this place. I’m not normally a picky person, but no one was tending to this food at all. It was truly in deplorable condition. I’m mad at myself right now for not demanding my money back. I only hope I can save another person from my experience. Stay away!!!

Judging by the parking lot, everyone already knows. Yuck. Seeing what they’re doing to food here deadens my should. I hope to still be well after this.

First problem was we couldn’t find any clean silverware. We went through over 12 spoons and 8 knives. Also couldn’t find a clean plate. Several other patrons made comments to us about it as well. Most of the staff was looking like they would rather die than be here. Our waitress was working herself to death and was VERYPLEASANT(kudos to Ashley). No appearance from management. I don’t believe that I will return and don’t recommend this place to anyone unless some MAJOR changes take place. I had to use the restroom and OMG not sure when the last time was they were cleaned but it wasn’t recent.

Many items were out. The carving station was not manned. Lots of dirty takes. AND they ask if you want a Togo cup for your drink when you enter then charge you an extra .69 for it with out telling you. Never again

Great place to eat. Food is hot and fresh. Within walking distance of several hotels. Will definitely be back!

Very disappointed in this establishment! The food was mediocre at best. Not the cleanest Ryan’s I’ve been to. The Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. There’s NOWAY management didn’t know the state the restaurant is in! We will not be returning or recommending ever.

I have never wrote a review in my life but this had to be the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant ever. The food was unbelievably bad. Anywhere from food being raw to who knows how many hours it spent under the heat light. The servers were terrible and the bathrooms were overflowing into the floor and super gross. I got sick before I even left the restaurant. I’ll probably never eat at a Ryan’s ever again because of this.

This place was awful! I’d give it 0 stars if I could. Food choices were pretty limited, for a buffet, and everything looked horribly overlooked and dried out. What little I did try was mediocre at best, and most was tasteless or inedible. The highlight was the salad bar — probably because they didn’t have to cook anything on it. Still, it wasn’t anything special, it was just the only thing edible. Even the desserts were awful. How can you make chocolate cake that bad? I’m sorry we decided to eat there. It was beyond a disappointment.

We just had a fantastic experience here, so I am not sure what the bad reviews are about. the food was hot and fresh, our waitress was attentive, and the restrooms were fairly clean. We were in and out quickly off of the freeway, which was our goal.

Wow — that was bad! Our sons name is Ryan(fun to eat at his namesake) & we had eaten at one Ryan’s buffet before that was good — this was awful! Within an hour stomach pains, nausea — and the food tasted bad too — not even flavorful. I really thought the other reviews were isolated issues from years ago — WRONG! RUN away!

Stay the *bleep* away from this place. This place is such a craphole, and totally epitomizes how OCB and Ryan’s how gone downhill, everywhere. No wonder I saw their buildings recycled(particularly Ryan’s) in several states while traveling towards Virginia, when I took a vacation to that state in spring. Completely awful experience, and if it wasn’t for the fact I was with others who wanted to go here(ugh), I would’ve vetoed eating here. Ah, how I wish I knew there was an Indian/Pakistani restaurant in Seymour, right by the forgotten outlet mall, per looking up restaurants in the nearby area just now, outta curiosity…

Big mistake. Should have gone elsewhere. Had an omlet made and the omlet maker is one of those that uses cute little phrases like, «my little lady», and other equally obnoxious phrases. My omlet was filled with raw mushrooms, green peppers and cold cheese. The egg itself was as thin as a crêpe. The rest of the buffett was pretty limited concidering Ryans space. Tried the pancakes and the edges were crunchy. The biscuts and gravey were ok. Not enough fruits. No juices available like some buffets. I left unsatisfied and won’t be going back.
