Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Rented an Enterprise car while visiting my daughter’s family in Mayfield. check-​in was easy, fast, and people were informative and easy to work with.
Returned the car was as good as renting the car. The office staff were very good.
I recommend this office and enterprise for car rentals. Would use them again.

Was very impressed with the service at this location. The service staff were polite, accommodating, and a pleasure to do business with. They had an organized system. Check out was timely. And they even gave me a ride home when I returned the car. Spoke with the manager in detail about the transition to new management. They are doing a really good job. Two thumbs up. The prices renting directly from the company were comparable to hotwire and in a more convenient location than the airport. Would rent from this location again.

The service was great. Usually don’t give five stars but how can you not when a company picks you up and drops you off. They make it so convenient and are willing to work with you on extending out your rental. Ron and the other gentleman at the front desk were very accommodating. The gave me history on the family owned franchise. Who knew they had been picking people up for so long. Tommy dropped me off and was very pleasant on the ride.

They were very nice and helpful, and they were able to get me a rental car right away when I was in an accident.

On Friday, December 27, 2013, we rented a Dodge Grand Caravan from Enterprise Rent-​a-​Car at 15 809 Chagrin Blvd., Shaker Heights, OH 44 120. Our family needed a larger car to visit my 90 year old father and we were willing to pay the high rental charge ($ 140/​day) to use the mini-​van for the day. I did the typical vehicle walk-​around the car, noting a couple paint scrapes on the sides. I did not see any damage to the bumper because we walked near the car, not at a distance. From this perspective we were unable to see any damage to the underside of the bumper.
There was not a time during our trip where damage could have occurred to that location of the vehicle. We did not back into anything and there was no way we could have been hit in this location from another car. Our only conclusion is that any damage to the underside of the bumper existed before we gained possession of the vehicle.
When we returned the car, the manager of the location, Korey Gilyard, went outside to examine the car. He found a minor dent on the underside of the rear bumper on the right side. This damage cannot be seen from any angle if you are walking near the car. I have photos to illustrate this.
The manager of the location, Korey Gilyard, took our insurance information with the intent of filing a claim for this minor damage. We absolutely dispute that we were responsible for this dent. We believe that is an attempt to collect money from our insurance company or us for damage that occurred before we took possession of the vehicle. I can only see this as a scam that Enterprise Rent-​A-​Car is trying to pull to take advantage of customers.
I say two things: 1) Take multiple photos of any vehicles you rent from all angles. There may be things that you don’t initially notice but can be seen upon closer examination. 2) I will not rent from Enterprise again. This kind of behavior on the part of their agents is a very poor representation of their business practices.
