Employee John(didn’t get his last name) help me cut out some boards and measure a few items. I walked in wasn’t sure what I wanted but a big THANKYOU to him. He helped me measure and cut out boards on a project that I’m doing. So nice and generous of him! Again, thank you so much.

I was finishing my basement when I ordered ceramic tile from Lowes. They said it would be in in about 10 days, which it was. The day I went to pick up the tile, the employee brought it out on a pallet. The problem was that 8 of the 10 boxes were damaged. Actually the whole pallet looked like it fell off the truck as it had grass and dirt all over it. My question is how would anyone at Lowes«receive» a shipment in that condition and call the customer to tell me it’s ready for pick up. We’ll to get to the point, the manager apologized and got replacement tile for me in 4 days as I had an installer lined up. He also gave me a 50% discount for my trouble. In addition, he remembered me 2 years later when I was purchasing deck material. That’s customer service. Chaska Home Depot, you guys could learn from this.

I just bought the stainless Kitchen Aid gas range/dual oven. I gotta tell you the reason I decided to spend 2 months pay on this fine unit was only to make frozen pizzas and the occasional ramen noodle. One might think buying a commercial grade range for home use is just plain stupid… well not me. When I have the guys over once every 5 years for poker parties and they’ll be soooo impressed I can cook 2 Bernatello’s at the same time perfectly! That alone makes it worth the cost and pain of extensive cleaning(who am I kidding, I’m not cleaning it. Ever.). I rated this unit at 5 stars. I now realize I have a horrible gluten allergy and those perfectly cooked pizzas the unit produced turn me into a walking, talking frozen yogurt machine.

Actually have staff who approach you asking if you need help! So different from other big box stores. Friendly, helpful staff, great selection of items not found elsewhere, clean, organized… only wish they were in Eden Prairie to make it a bit easier to get to :).

Went here about a dozen times in a fee weeks of moving into my new home. Very helpful people. The customer service counter seems overworked… one girl usually and shes tired from a long shift with little help, but ive never had an issue at all… Kobalt tools are e best… put craftsman, dewitt et el to shame…

My wife and I recently moved from California. Like all other Minnesotans, we needed a snow blower. I have never purchased one before, so I wanted to make sure that I got all the info I needed. We shopped around at other stores. To be honest I wasn’t getting the customer service that I was looking for. I have never been to Lowes, but I wanted to give it a shot. My sales guy Mike Buck, was the best! He was very knowledgable about the whole line up of snow blowers, plus very friendly and honest. He didn’t try to steer me to get something I didn’t need. I got set up with a great snow blower that fit our needs. Once I purchased the snow blower and leaf blower, Mike took the time to help get it in my car. We had to break down the snow blower to make it fit, and he was very patient and helpful.

The staff are very friendly and helpful without being obnoxious. The store is well organized and clean. The prices are a little higher(in general) than Home Depot or Menards, but they have some good deals. Lots of kudos to them for doing tons of 90% off deals on-line for Black Friday. I didn’t manage to get any of them, but I’m glad some people got KitchenAid mixers for $ 20 and the like.
