Ollie’s stores are a ton of fun as you never know what you’re going to find. They often open in buildings where a previous business has closed and/or moved, so you can end up in some very tight spaces or in some really nice spaces(Former Ames/Value City’s). This is my home Ollie’s and it’s the first one I ever visited. It’s reasonably well stocked. Biggest problem is the location is more crowded, older, and smaller than the Cressona(Former Ames) and Hazleton(Former Value City) locations. It can be very hard to move around at times due to the middle of some isles being occupied by products. Checkout area is crowed at times. The store is located in an older plaza that’s still rebounding after the Giant Food Stores moved to the newer Monroe Marketplace. As usual, if you’re buying food and certain other products, watch the expiration dates.

What a crazy place! My mother’s home is decorated with finds from Ollie’s. Pillows, pillowcases, chairs, mugs, mustard, rugs, napkins, beach toys. You name it, she has it, and a huge amount of it came from this location. My aunt lives nearby, and a visit with the family is not complete without a trip to Ollie’s. I dare not tell her that there is a closer location! Books, patio furniture, clothing, candy, wallpaper… it would be cheap, and good, but WAY too much!
