Just got back, the place is great ecspecially for thier first year. Some improvements needed but they will get there. nice trails for all skill levels even beginners. No tracks though which is fine with me, i’m there for mountains. also very nice that you share the trails with bikes, atvs, jeeps, etc. Just need camping.

Great outdoor area for off-roading enthusiasts. Old coal roads and forest trails are ATV and dirt bike haven. Best of all, they are one of very few parks close to NYC that allow single Jeeps on the trails. Most of the trails are still best for smaller rides, but there are still plenty of roads for Jeepers to have fun. Dirt, gravel, boulders and stones, forest roads and huge puddles of swamp water to channel your inner pig and scream«Weeeeeheee» as you roll through them. Yep, good ‘ol dirty fun! Fee is not bad. They also had BBQ on parking lot to feed hungry dusty souls and fireworks were coming up for 4th. The only downside is that there is absolutely nothing else around in the area. Still, being under 3hrs from NYC, I’ll take it!
