I doubt his work or reliability are any better, will probably evade you for months on the first sign of trouble

I am confused by the poor reviews for Pro-​Air. But in my own experience, I usually only leave reviews when I get poor service.
My experience was completely the opposite, so I felt compelled to leave a great review. We had a leak in our a/​c unit and another company recommended a system that was $ 11K and not appropriate for New England climate. I sent out a request on Networxx and Alan called right away – on a Sunday. He spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me to understand the situation.
He made us his first stop the next morning and gave us much better and more effective options based on New England climate, our budget, and our goals. He was able to give us a quote before leaving the house, then came back Wednesday to start the install. He miscalculated the fit of the new air handler and had to have new parts made. Rather than charging us for his mistake, he absorbed the cost. Since the weather was cool, he was unable to test the A/​C.
Later that week the temperature was high enough for us to need the A/​C and it did not function properly. We called Alan right away and he came over on a Sunday to adjust it. It works very well now!
We were completely impressed with Alan’s knowledge, professionalism, punctuality, and attitude. He is great to work with and I would recommend him to anyone.

The price was very low compared to other businesses. TOTAL HACK JOB! The owner came and did the work right away after the estimate. Job was done within a few weeks. Once the job was done, it is almost impossible to get them to look at issues. I had an issue for over two years. They finally came and did the fix that only took 10 minutes after two years of calls and emails and threats of a lawyer.
Now, I discovered that the isullation was installed wrong around all of the registers and I now have water stains on my old ceilings and he is not coming back. Do not use pro air whatsoever!!! The electrical panel not even installed by an electrician was never grounded!
DO NOT USE ALAN!!! Do your homework on this guy.

Alan, was punctual, friendly, and provided a fair price (better than others) to update my furnace. He wasextremely knowledgeable, explaining what he did in great detail. I recommend Proair to all my friends/​family.
