My Cleaner

I’ve tried other dry cleaners and this one is the best at a good price. I just wish they had longer hours on Saturday

This is the only dry cleaner in Aspinwall proper, located on Freeport Rd next to Labriola’s. My husband has had his dress shirts for work cleaned here regularly for the past year or so, and they’ve always come back okay but not great. They were always neatly pressed, but they never really had that «clean» feeling. But this place is close to our house, so laziness has driven us to keep using them as our regular cleaner.
But no more — last week I picked up our winter coats that I had given them to dry clean before storing them for the winter, and my white coat still had stains all over it! There was a tag on the hanger with a sad-​looking cartoon man saying, «Sorry, we tried everything we could but couldn’t get the stains out! Just wanted to let you know so you know we’re aware of this.» Ummm… what? These were minor dirt stains, nothing serious like wine or blood or oil. I’ve never before had a dry cleaner be unable to get stains out, and I’ve certainly never had them just brush it off with a cutesy little tag that basically says «sorry/​not sorry». They should have provided me with a partial refund at the very least, as I essentially paid them for nothing (my coat looks exactly the same). What a waste. If you can’t get a minor stain out of a coat, then you can’t call yourself a cleaner. Definitely won’t be going back to them from this point on.

I am new to Unilocal but have been going to My Cleaner for the past 6 years and I have not a single bad word to say about them. They are less expensive than their competitors in the area but do a better job than the rest of the cleaners. The lady who works there during the day is very helpful and organized which is always a plus at a dry cleaners.
I have never had a stain that didn’t come out when I gave it to them to clean. I have had some bad experiences in the past with other dry cleaners, like losing or destroying my clothes but never with this one. I would recomend this cleaners to anyone who asks because of its convenience and quality work.

This place really deserves 0 stars because one star would imply that they actually do what their sign says… CLEAN!
This was the first dry cleaning service I tried when I moved to Pittsburgh. I did it out of convenience because it was right by my house and the prices were written on the window. Big mistake! I should have Unilocaled a dry cleaner…
Usually I don’t check my clothes when I pick them up but I randomly did it anyway. I was extremely glad I did! Everything was neatly pressed but NONE of the items were CLEAN! I had a soy sauce stain on one of my sweaters… still there. The collar on my husband’s business shirts were still dirty. To top it off, my blouses still smelled like my perfume! They just ironed dirty clothes! When I brought it to the attention of the cleaner lady she had NERVE to say she will clean them «again» free of charge.
