We stop here on our way to Shaver Lake cabin to get sandwiches for lunch(usually eat at one of their outside tables) and their great cookies. Very friendly owners and staff. It’s just a cool old store that has been open for close to a hundred years.

The service here is always fantastic. Their pizzas, sandwiches, and cookies are amazing. Came here to get pizza after being disappointed with the size of the Shaver Lake Pizza we got. this one was cheaper and just better in general.

Our family LOVES this place! The owners are super friendly, their prices are reasonable and their food is AMAZING! The pizza is the best take N bake and they don’t gouge you on prices.

Love the people here. I always feel valued as a customer and local. They have great cookies. Honest to gawd they’re the best sandwich shop in the area also. I personally like their subs better than any I’ve found in fresno. Very reasonably priced. A genuinly beneficial addition to the community.

They have the best take and bake pizzas and homemade apple pie. Great place to swing by on your way up to Shaver Lake. It has the sense of an old fashiond store and people who work there are extremely nice…

Awesome people, great food. I stop in every time I head that way. Try the berrocks! Or the baked goods. Or the sandwiches. You really can’t go wrong.

A hidden gem! Truly. Their desserts are out of this world and are different this week. It is a very unassuming place, but go inside and you will be ever so delighted. And the owners are SO nice!

We stumbled upon this quaint little store while on our way to Dinkey Creek in Sept 2010. We initially stopped for gas but I peeked inside to see what kind of snacks they had(I had a few hungry kids in tow). I peeked in and was pleasantly surprised that not only did they have some yummy food but two of the nicest guys I had ever met. They provided us with some SERIOUSLY delicious tri-tip sandwiches, sold us some gas, and even manuvered our rented travel trailer for us(their motovation was probably to save their roof as we were pretty close) nontheless, we appreciated their kindness and hospitaility. We’re heading back this week and we’ll definately be stopping in for some tri-tip and good news… we bought our own trailer so we have a little more driving pratice under our belts!
