Park is charming. Looks brand new and very weel kept. The gazebo-style shelter area is nice and it has a barbecue grill on site. The playground is near shelter. The playground has swings, a slide, a rock wall for climbing, monkey bars, latter climbing, and a bridge crossing playground concoction. Kids love it. It also has a walking trail throughout the park and most of the trail is quiet and private. Although the park itself is right off the highway exit, it is far enough that you’re not bothered. Parking lot is fairly small and the only down side is that there is no real restroom available. Just a Johnny On The Spot off the parking lot. Park is free, although you may want to call and reserve the shelter if you plan oto have an event there. I would definitely recommend it for children’s party or for a fun barbecue get together.
