I love their food. Fresh and authentic. The owners are a couple from Italy, very friendly. Almost too friendly even. They kept trying to hold full conversations with us while we were eating. It did take a bit of time to get our food but I didn’t mind the wait knowing my food was being made from scratch. If I’m not in a talkative move I would defiantly still order it to go:)

This is the worst dinning experience I have ever had! We were the only ones in the restaurant at 6 so we didn’t have high expectations, this is not a safe dinning experience for anyone. Long terrible story. Please if you want to have a good night and not have a terrible experience that you will never forget do not eat here.

We grew up on New York City and Philadelphia Italian food. We can’t believe we found top quality NYC Italian food in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Food is made from scratch and is absolutely perfect! I had calamari fra diablo marinara sauce on spaghetti and my wife had Lasagna. Outstanding! Desserts are made on the premises. Tiramisu was excellent, as were the Cannolis. Other diners raved about the Lemoncello. Highly recommend this «mom and pop» restaurant! It is the best.

Very long wait, owner was working alone. Best part of the meal was the bruchetta. I got the chicken picata it had to many capers that it was all I tasted. Owner was nice, but you could tell he was overwhelmed. This was my second try with this place can’t say I would be back.

Very good food! Food took a while but is well worth the wait. The chef/​owner sent out a complimentary helping of pasta fagioli for us to try, which was really good. Our group had bruschetta, pizza, lasagna, chicken piccata, veal Parmesan, chicken Parmesan and gnocchi. Do you know how hard it is to find a place that makes gnocchi? And good gnocchi to boot. Made me happy. Everyone enjoyed their food but I think the chicken piccata was out of this world. I can truly say it was the best chicken piccata I have ever had. That sauce was to die for. My meal came with broccoli as a side and it was just yummy in that sauce. Will definitely be going back.

Probably the only place you can go and get real, freshly made food. The bruschetta is amazing and a family favorite. Home baked desserts. If you want something prepared a little differently it isn’t a problem as it is all freshly prepared if they have the ingredients you can get it. So far the wife has had two custom sauces and a dessert just by asking. Just a tip this is a small family restaurant and usually just mother and son doing the cooking, waiting, cleaning and checking out so have an hour or so to enjoy the low pressure environment and the food. Also order a pitcher of water or two of you have a larger party as it makes everyones job easier you also might consider paying before your done eating as if there are other people ordering the family will be busy making more fresh food!

This place is delicious! The Italian food is very authentic and they make it fresh! If you’re in the mood for REAL Italian food you should eat here! Prices are great too!

Outstanding authentic Itailian food. Our table had lasagna, chicken piccata, pizza, veal parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs. All were very good, made from fresh ingredients. Their tiramisu was the best I have had. Do yourself a favor and try this place. We look forward to returning and exploring their menu further.

Italian. Surprisingly great food, but, alas, no wine!

Food was fresh, so fresh we could hear them chopping the vegetables, definitely worth the price. Large portions, fabulous breads, so filling we took half our dinner home!

Real, fresh, and delicious. Make sure to try their fried mozzarella, it’s so cheesy and melts in your mouth. Their tomato sauce is handmade, unlike their competition. Their flat bread is buttery and crispy. They can make anything you ask for. The owner is a true Italian and will visit with you. I wish more people would stop being so scared to try new things and give a true gem a try. Unfortunately their competition is more popular, but I guess most Shawnee locals like crappy microwaved food.

Great food and good conversation with a true Italian atmosphere! Number one for shawnee.
Too bad the community has a iron gut and a false sense of trust for Dominicas neighbor to not give them dysentery!
