Great place for guys haircuts!!! Jimmy took me in even though I didn’t have an appointment and did an awesome job!!! Best haircut in a long time!!!

Jamie Gourd is the worst hair stylist I have had in 30 years. You tell her what you want done with your hair regarding color, cut, and style, and she doesn’t listen. She just does her own thing. She does not provide you with a color chart. You even show her an example of a particular hair style that you want in a magazine, and it doesn’t even come close to what you wanted. She thinks she is all that and a bag of chips! She does what she wants to your hair, not what the customer wants.
I can only assume whomever gave her a rave review in 2008 was a friend of hers.
And don’t think you will get a live voice on the phone when you call the salon. They have a younger blonde receptionist who is ALWAYS on the phone and never answers the phone. I have overheard her on the phone as I waited for my appointment, and it didn’t sound like somebody was making an appt. You have to leave a voice mail measage. And if you do leave a message, don’t assume you will get a call back within a reasonable time frame. I can’t believe the owner hasn’t figured out that she paying a person to talk on the phone and not for business reasons. If I was a new customer, I would not leave a voice mail essage.
Bottom line… this place is a very poorly run establishment and needs much better hair stylists. Not to mention, their prices are higher than some of the nicer salons.

Great place to get a really good hair cut for a fair price. I recommend to all guys who can’t stand super cuts and sports clips.

Love it!!! They do it right in there. I always have gone to Sonya; however, you would be safe with any of the girls there. All of them are very current, trendy, personable, and good at what they do. On top of that, swing in and check out the seasonal trends for jewelry, purses and clothing. You can always find a «little something» to go with your new «do»

There are plenty of chain salons in my neighborhood, but I won’t let just anyone with a pair of scissors cut my hair. Luckily for me, the stars were aligned when I asked a friend about her stylist and she gave me Jamie Gourd’s number. Jamie had just moved to Hello Beautiful, which is located on the far end of an otherwise nondescript strip mall. Even with an address in hand I wasn’t sure I made the correct turn, but I eventually found the salon, and Jamie.
I changed stylists because I was spending four to six hours at the salon every time I had a cut and highlights. I have kids and jobs and house to clean I just can’t spend that long on my hair. Even though it was a Saturday morning, Jamie was smiling and perky. She had me in and out in an hour and a half, and my hair looked great. I sent my daughters to her too, and they were equally pleased with their cuts.
Hello Beautiful is new, clean and — because it’s open and airy — pretty noisy when all the stylists have clients. The noise isn’t too overwhelming, though, and mothers with young children will love the little table in the corner stocked with colors and books. My kids are older, but it’s a nice extra knowing there’s something to keep your little angels busy while you squeeze in some much-​needed me time.
