I was working in the area and was hoping for a couple of quick tans to prep for an upcoming vacation. I stopped in to tan and asked for pricing. In my opinion, the prices were high for a single tan, but whatever, I needed a tan and I’m probably spoiled in that I live in an area of the country where you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting 12 tanning salons, so the prices are more competitive at home than in the middle of Oklahoma. So I paid(too much) for an «upgraded» bed that ended up looking nothing like the fancy picture in the brochure, but looked more like a regular, plain ol’ tanning bed. Sigh. Within 30 seconds of me closing the door behind me, the bed kicked on automatically. C’mon! Can I at least get my shoes off before the bed turns on? And is this seriously a huge problem? People dilly dallying around for hours before turning on the beds? I paid for 10 minutes, and ended up getting closer to 6. When I told the high schooler on the way out that I was disappointed, all I got was a, «like, sorry!». Ugh, a waste of my time and money.
