K.C. Arborist Tree Care

Very disappointed. These guys came very highly recommended by a local lawn-​care company that I trust. The receptionist was very friendly. Jody was kind enough to stop by the house for a free-​quote… however, once the quote was complete, the rest of the experience went down the drain. I called Jody every day for nearly a week — he would never answer his phone and would return calls at times that were impossible for me to answer. Twice I called him back within 60 seconds and was sent to voicemail… it was maddening. Every call I offered for him to return my calls after business hours (which is when we had originally talked) — he never would do so. One returned message discouraged me from returning his call, as he was planning to attend a baseball game — quite unprofessional!
They reluctantly re-​assigned my case to Jeff who was equally as bad — the non-​committal «we’ll call you in 2 – 4 weeks and let you know when we are coming» scheduling tactic pushed me over the edge.
We ultimately found a lovely local company that showed up, quoted and completed the work in a more-​than-​satisfactory manner and in less than 24 hours — thumbs up to the small local companies that still put customer service first! K.C. Arborist Tree Care should learn a lesson from the «little guys» here in town!

I would give them five stars but for one issue: We waited more than two months to get a dead tree cut down. In their defense, weather was not helping, and one week we were on vacation. But when I needed to have surgery and said «this week or never,» they agreed. The team was professional, courteous, and thoroughly cleaned up all debris. The stump was ground up well. Worth every penny to have it done right!
