I would give no stars if a choice. This is one of the worse grounds we have stayed in and at one of the highest prices($ 50, $ 45 with Good Sam Discount(?)) We are Good Sam members and are starting to wonder how they rate the parks. The park being gravel and tight was expected. What was not expected was the outrageous price for a lousy space(premium according to the office) that does not even have a picnic table and you cannot hook up to cable unless you stay a month or longer. Really? I would not stay another night let alone a month. The«Premium» spot was the first space as you enter, across from the office. Every vehicle coming and going is in our face. The street noise is drowned out only by our television. We walked down to the pet area(which was very nice) but noticed many of the back in sites are very muddy, but at the least more private and shaded, but no tables there either. We did not check out the laundry, or rest rooms as we prefer our own. There are some wonderful reports of how clean they are. The only positives in our eyes are 1. the pet area is nice,(but far from our rig), 2. At least we are across from the wifi so the reception has been great. 3. and the most important in these eyes, we are right at the entrance/exit which allows for a fast departure in the morning. We are not fancy people and generally we prefer the parks with the fewest amenities, but we also expect REASONABLE rates.

Our first stop in our new RVing adventure… We picked up our new RV and parked here for a month while we got settled in. Everything you read about the park itself is true– it’s a pretty plain, mostly gravel, tightly packed lot. But the family that runs it is super friendly and helpful(especially when you’re trying to figure out which hoses and chemicals and gadgets you need to arm yourself with) and the location can’t be beat. It is by far the closest to anything on the Johnson County side of town with easy access to all the highway. So what it lacks in charm and amenities are pretty much made up by hospitality and location.
