Latitude 43 Restaurant

Service was great! Food??? Mac n chz was the star of the show. Nothing else really that memorable. Def not worth the $$$ tho.

Not sure what the other reviewers were talking about. This place had great and reasonably priced food. The scenery and service staff was superb. In fact, the restaurant was very impressive, as was the bar drinks. We enjoyed salads, escargot, and steaks.

Beautiful view of the lake, but the rest of the experience was mediocre. I attended an event at the conference center. We had around 90 people eat here for lunch. The cheapest option was a pizza bar with a decent salad and a cookie. They plan price by the slice. So when we realized the circle pizza was cut in two inch squares we were out of pizza before the line made it through the buffet. A half hour later they had more pizza but our group was rushing off to workshops. What a joke.

First let me say this is a lovely hotel and a great water park. Our room overlooking the lake is nice.
We just had dinner at the on site eatery and it was beyond awful. We were tempted by the buy one get one free happy hour. We ordered the cheese curds first — how can you go wrong with melty cheese in batter? Well serve it cold, use a weird bland cheese that’s not at all melty and put it in a dry floury coating. Bizzar!
My fish went back it was dry with uncooked potatoes. Other dishes included the bratwurst — also dry and served with a plain stale looking shop bought burger bun, not even a bratt bun. My daughter ordered pizza the kitchen made a mistake and that finally showed up 10 minutes late.
The final straw was when we got someone else’s bill, almost twice the cost of our own, good job I read it.
Bottom line come and stay at the hotel but eat out, food is expensive and garbage.

Met an old mentor from my training here for dinner. We ordered a bunch of different seafood appetizers (crab legs, mussels, etc), and all were delicious. Food was reasonably priced as well. Main drawback for me was that the white wine we ordered was not properly chilled, and just set on our table without a chiller or ice bucket. View of the lake was great.
