I cannot speak to the quality of the hotel itself, I only can speak to their willingness to help. Let me start by saying I am completely aware that I was asking for significant help from the owner, which I obviously did not receive. I booked a room via Hotwire not understanding there was no ability to make any changes period. I have booked on Hotwire before where changes are possible, but some deals apparently cannot be changed period. So fine… my mistake. My travel shifted by one day and I called the hotel to ask for help. I spoke to a very nice woman who did her best to help. She passed on my request to the owner, who apparently does not have English as his first language. The language barrier was apparently too much since he was unable to understand that my travel plans were forced to change by a day. He went on for 5 minutes(without seeming to take a breath) on how booking hotels work. While I might not be a travel genius, I do understand the basics of booking a hotel. After several minutes of the lecture on the importance of making a reservation, I decided to give up. Again, I understand that the fault is my own but I was disappointed that my loss of money included a lecture from someone who was not able to understand English well enough to get what I was even asking. I am giving a gold star to the nice young lady who tried to help me, and no stars to the owner who apparently thought it was important to lecture potential customers on the importance of making hotel reservations. I guess I was hoping to either get help or a gracious«I’m really sorry but I can’t help you» response… not a lecture in broken English on how apparently ignorant I am. The primary reason I am writing this review is that the owner’s attitude towards me is likely indicative of how they treat customers in general. It was not sufficient to say, «sorry, I can’t help» but apparently a lecture was required as well. At least it provided some comic relief — like when you watch a horrible movie and it is so bad that you have to laugh at how silly and pointless it is. :-) Happy Travels!

I’ve stayed at a few Super 8’s in my day. From Wisconsin to North Carolina… They’ve always been just a place to hang your hat and get out the next morning… This one is well, very clean and modern. It feels almost too nice to be a Super 8. The rooms are very modern and clean. Our king size bed was soooo comfortable. Easy access to I43 and downtown Sheboygan. We booked our trip on Priceline and save about $ 20 for the night. Friendly staff as well who are willing to help and recommend places to visit in the area.
