Stopped in on a whim, the staff was happy to demo games to help us find something we liked. We ended up buying more than one game to entertain us on our vacation.

They have over 300 games for you to try in store for free or take home and rent. I don’t know of any place that will let you rent a tabletop game. Then– if you decide to buy it– that money will go towards the purchase price of a brand new one! Yup– this store is that cool. They genuinely love their job and don’t just want to sell you something. They care about their customers and want you to walk away happy so you come back more. They make recommendations based on what you tell them and will teach you games they think you would like. Their selection is large and what they don’t have in stock they usually offer to get for you in a couple days. The place is occasionally filled with young guys playing games. There seems to be a sense of community here among the ‘regulars’. Young or old, they help each other out and look out for each other. I wish there were more places like this one around the corner!

The GameBoard is a quaint little shop where you can find fun games that you just can’t buy at your local Wal Mart. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the best part is you can try out any game before you buy it! Betcha can’t get that at Wal Mart! Still not sure if you like the game after trying it out in store? Rent it and try it out at home! Trust me, the GameBoard does not disappoint! Hurry down today and get your game on!
