I have been a patient of Dr. Antolak’s for 7 years now. And there is a reason why I originally seeked him out. His name. «The Gentle Dentist» I had previously had issues with a few dentists that claimed to be the same… they would take care of you, make sure you were as comfortable as possible. Well, that wasn’t the case at the other places that I had tried out for being a dentist.
To be frank, I have a horrific fear of going to the dentist. Why that is? I have no idea… maybe its the fact that for some reason its painful… you’re vulnerable… you’re trusting those other people to do what they need to do so that you can continue being able to eat and do it without having any pain in life.
From my first meeting with Dr. Antolak, I knew that this was going to be a completely different experience than any other dentist office I had ever been to. He sits down with you, gets to know you, actually listens to everything that you are worried, concerned, or that you have questions about. He will explain everything in terminology that you can understand, and he does everything in his power to make sure you’re comfortable.
The staff themselves are amazing. They remember you, they know your personal details, but most of all they put your dental health in front of everything else… They don’t suggest having work done that isn’t necessary.
Another key reason why I had found Dr. Antolak is that he has been trained in Sedation Dentistry. Basically it is summed up that if you have fear of going to the dentist, have had bad experiences, or have severe anxiety like myself… they can provide you with medicine that will allow you to ‘sleep’ through your appointment. You go in, take some medicine, get all relaxed, lay back in the chair… and then that is it. Everything is done.
I could probably sit here for a while and rave about how kind and friendly everyone at the office is, but I would say that if you are in the search for a dentist… Dr. Antolak should be at the top of your list of dentists to check out in the area.
