If I could give Aldi 10 stars I would, the size is right (bigger is not always better). Seriously, I look at a walmart parking lot and think about how far away the juice is and I get so tired that I need a nap. The prices are awesome, why pay $ 4 for cereal when you can pay $ 1.79? The employees are friendly because they get to sit and they are getting paid real wages. I really could go on and on and on… but i think you get the point. I LOVE Aldi you should try it.

For those of you who have never been to an Aldi’s — go now. It’s pretty cool. Aldi is a German supermarket chain (it stands for Albrecht Diskont). Their Northern German operations also owns Trader Joe’s. A great place for wine, fresh dairy and cereals. You can get inexpensive fresh mozzarella, prosciutto and good bread. Their produce is cheap as well — fresh aspargus for under $ 2. They also carry some imported German specialities. No bags — bring your own or use empty boxes. And… have a quarter ready to use a cart (yes you get your quarter back when you return the cart)
