Morgan & Wells Bed and Breakfast

Loved our stay in this beautiful 3 story home. Enjoyed hearing about the history of such a big house being moved across the street. The feel or the home is very comfortable with soft plush beds and pillows. Accommodations of snacks, drinks and our favorite of chocolate covered strawberries. A flat screen tv in each bedroom and robes for your use. Breakfast was wonderful each morning with a wide family sharing style of eggs, bacon, French toast, red velvet pancakes, and fruit choices. It’s also walking distance to charming downtown Shelby with cool brewery bar and restaurants. Our favorite of Newks that had burger award and yummy porter selections. We will definitely be back and stay again at this B&B.

What a hidden gem. If you are traveling anywhere near Shelby, even to Charlotte NC do yourself the favor skip overrated and overpriced hotels and stay at this phenomenal B&B. The owners may be the two nicest most sincere business operators in the country. This place is all that’s great about the south. Hospitality, Service, Charming!!! Oh and the breakfast at this B&B is to die for! They bring in an amazing chef who makes everything from scratch. 5 star quality food worthy of the best restaurants anywhere with portions that conjure Roman gluttony. My wife is a health inspector and self described hotel snob and she can’t stop talking about how wonderful this place and these people are. Charming historic home, huge rooms that are immaculately kept!!!

Had an awesome experience at Morgan and Wells Bed and Breakfast. Mrs Melanie and her husband showed the greatest hospitality. We didn’t know what to expect at first but they made us feel so very much at home and breakfast… it was a full catered breakfast with an excellent chef. A highly recommended getaway cor some R&R. If you’re ever in Shelby NC and in need of some relaxation, please look them up! Not to mention we met another great couple who also was there. Strangers amongst each other but it felt like family.
