The Legrand Center

All I can say is wow! I can’t believe this place is in Shelby! No offense Shelby (none taken Michael). This complex is something that you might only expect to see in a larger city like Charlotte.
The Legrand is an enormous Conference/​Event Center located on The Cleveland Community College Campus, right across from the fairgrounds. The exterior has some beautiful architecture and endless glass panels. Last night I attended a shareholder’s meeting for Edward Jones and finally got to see the inside. There are three main ballrooms that can be opened up into one large space. The acoustics are incredible. Everything is pretty much new, from the carpeting, to the fixtures to the AV equipment. Legrand also has a state of the art security system, and with the touch of a button the entrances and exits can all be locked down in an emergency. Not sure if there is a kitchen on site for catering or not. From what I heard, to date, all of the catering for events is from outside providers. Looks like a great place for a wedding, party or business meeting!
