Loved our experience there! We had a delightful lunch last Sunday that included pulled pork apple sandwich, ham and swiss with preserves, awesome apple coleslaw, some of the best potatoe salad ever, kids had fun pb and syrup apple slice sandwiches, peach slushies, and baked apple pie a la mode to boot! We took a scenic hayride to pick pumpkins(got seven) then went back to walk the corn maze, then the kids played on the oversized tires and other fun equipment. We bought delicious apple donuts on the way out, and after everything was said and done, only spent around $ 50 for a family of 6! Everyone was so nice there. We can’t stop telling everyone about what a nice time we had.

Well, I came here under the assumption that they were a «Pick your own» orchard — and they are — in 2017. Guess the trees arent quite ready yet. Oh well. But it was ok, I was able to get a big bag of mixed apples(looks like they have about 10 varieties), there is a cute little shop that sells the apples, plus a small amount of vegetables, local meat(frozen), jams, sauces, and pottery. There is a second building where you can get food, like cheeseburgers and handpies. I had an apple cider donut and it was delicious! I feel like this place is definitely on the right track and in time will be a fabulous fall destination.

I had the opportunity to go to the Shelby County farmers market and ran across a table selling Mulberry Orchard’s peaches. I bought a quarter of a peck of peaches. Peck… coming from NYC that was my first peck. So the outcome… AMAZING! These were by far the best peaches of the season and I am sorry I did not buy a full peck! Their brochure says that they also have apples and a what looks like a full amusement center with hay rides, animals, play area for kids and a shop. I will have to get to the farm soon to buy that peck! Take the trip… it is worth it.
