There are 6 floor staff, a bartender, and a manager at 8pm on a saturday, pretty slow right now. They have the bartender waiting on everyone. Me at the bar and 5 tables.
Everyone else is stocking, filling salt and pepper shakers, etc…
Took the poor guy 15 minutes just to get my drink order, and I’m sitting at the bar. I hope they don’t split tips.
Anyway, I’ve been to more Ruby Tuesdays than I care to count. I usually go with the Asiago steak, a burger, or the jambalaya pasta.
I went with the jambalaya pasta tonight. The cooks here need to be travelling the country teaching other Ruby Tuesday cooks how to blacken things properly. Nailed it. Nailed it hard.
If they hadn’t been screwing over the bartender it would’ve been 4 – 4.5

Like you I read reviews and decide where to eat. Let me tell you, the Bourbon Salmon was really delicious. The Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake was fantastic! Ruby Tuesdays is one of the few restaurants that have a great salad bar full of quality greens and veggies. Service at this Ruby’s was great. Food came out quickly and three people including the waitress stopped by to ask how I was doing more times than I could count. The young gentleman clearing tables and helping the waitress was a pleasure to talk to. The waitress was exceedingly attentive. Décor is beautiful, music over the sound system is good, place is clean, bathroom is beautifully done, food is great, prices are reasonable. What more can I ask for? Did I mention the salad bar is great? As a traveler in this small town on business, this is a great place to eat. Exceeded all expectations. Period.

I gave this place a one because I gave them every opportunity to impress me and they were horrible each time. I tried the lunch and dinner service and both were sad attempts. The salad bar was okay. It’s toppings tasted old and we’re bland. The food was cold and took forever. My appetizers were cold and looked like some one ate half before they brought it out and the drinks were watered down. I paid for my food that I didn’t eat and vowed I wouldn’t be back. The staff was friendly and offered to make it right but I seriously doubted they could do anything g about the horrible quality of food. The restaurant smells old and like grease. Sorry to bash this restaurant but this was a sad link in a once great chain.

My first trip to a Ruby Tuesday and I was not impressed. The food was just ok. The salad bar was nice, well-​stocked and fresh but the dressings were bland. My margarita was nothing too get excited about even though I ordered top shelf.

It was hard to find a restaurant in Shelbyville that wasn’t fast food, so my brothers and our wives decided on Ruby Tuesday. And I’m glad we did.
Jazma was our waitress, and she was a delight. We kept her running bringing drinks to our table, but she was always pleasant, helpful, and efficient. The food was tasty and seemed fresh, including the salad bar. I had the Caribbean chicken with coconut shrimp, and it was a nice surprise. It makes me wish we had a Ruby Tuesday near where we live.

This place rocks. The service is great, the food is awesome and the atmosphere is perfect for hanging out and having a good time and lots of laughs. So everyone come check it out.
