Best place in Shelbyville for espresso or latte. Quality coffee and quality baristas. Thank you!

Great coffee. Superb staff. We had coffee and tea on our way to visit friends. Shelbyville is a cute town rah takes their coffee seriously. Get a nice cup and stroll around the in store art gallery or sit and look at their book collection. Stroll down Main Street and drop in the antique shops and eclectic stores.

Love this place! The menu is extensive, but easy to follow. The atmosphere is very relaxed, unlike the cattle-car style Starbucks lines can be. You can tell the owner just really loves serving and drinking coffee, because it’s the best coffee for many miles and the service is excellent.

We were in Shelbyville for the weekend and stopped in the great little coffee shop. The barista was extremely friendly, the coffee was amazing and I loved the whole vibe of the place. If ever in the Shelbyville area, you definitely should stop in.

Definitely the best coffee shop in Shelbyville(There’s a couple now) and one of my favorite coffee shops in the greater Louisville area. The baristas are very knowledgeable and friendly. The coffee is good but the espresso is fantastic. The owners are very passionate about coffee and control every part of the coffees life, from partnering with growers to roasting the beans themselves.

Nice eclectic feel. Good espresso with a nice pull and crema. The book store and bike shop(adjoining) add to the vibe. I’ve being coming here across about seven years now(when in visiting family) and the feel and quality have been maintained that entire time Shelbyville would be a lot worse off without 6th& Main being here.

This coffee shop/bookstore is one of the most charming places I’ve been to yet. I lived in Shelbyville for a year and this was by far my best find. The atmosphere is unique and reminiscent of some quaint local joint you’d find on Bardstown Road in Louisville minus the commercialism. Occasional live music, shelves of used books for sale, and connected to a bike shop? Wake me up, I must be in hipster heaven! I would occasionally go here to work and would connect my laptop to their free wi-fi, but would always end up chatting with the barista or browsing the bookshelves. Doesn’t hurt that their coffee variety was phenomenal and their fresh baked items would taunt me from the counter until I’d succumb to their calls and grab one. I recommend the scones — always perfect and almost good enough to warrant a trip back to Shelbyville.

Bookshelves line one wall and darker-than-standard-coffeeshop– artwork beckons a closer look. Delicious homemade blueberry muffins and scones, made-to-order parfaits and plenty of coffee options to please the most discerning palate. I’ll make a stop here when I’m back in town.
