Not only was my first job here but so was my first meatball sandwich. The meatball sandwich is no longer on the menu sadly but the rest of the food is just as amazing. The staff is usually friendly and Mike the owner always impresses me with his cooking skill and his wife with her decorating. I cannot wait to come back to eat here. By the way the window view of the lake is amazing!

The actual address to this place is Hwy YYSUITE300 Timer Rock Village. Near the corner of 39 and Hwy YY. This is the best places I have ever been to for breakfast. $ 7.50 for an all you can eat breakfast with every part if the pig you can imagine. Homemade desserts are part if the package you should definitely save some room. The staff is super friendly and polite. These ladies are the genuine article. Put this on your list you won’t be disappointed!

Their chicken salad is made with grated coconut and their secret is to sweeten it with powdered sugar! No fruit, veggies or nuts in this non savory chunk fest. Huge portions on either a croissant, bread or lettuce will be enough for 2 meals! I drive from Springfield 2 – 3 times a year just for this dish and always get a 2nd order to take home to freeze. Wish they sold it by the pound! HINT, HINT Miss Icy Mae!!! Another reviewer was correct as it’s located at Hwy 39& Hwy YY overlooking the lake and bridge from big picture windows.

Really great tasting food, large portions. Had the Bumpy Road and added tzatziki sauce, was delicious. Would have given 5 stars but service was lacking. A few items were forgotten and my plate came 5 mins after everyone else’s. I had to ask if mine was coming as waitress didn’t say it was coming or not.

The chef/owner has a great breakfast menu.(I didn’t look at the lunch menu, but I heard the sandwiches are over the top!) The portions are HUGE and the prices are VERY reasonable. If you eat breakfast here you won’t be hungry for lunch! I would have given them 5 stars of the service would have been a little better. I can’t believe this place is in the tiny town of Shell Knob! Next time we go we are doing lunch!

Icy Mae’s is on the top floor of the largest building in the TimbeRock Village at the corner of Hwy 39 and YY in Shell Knob. Always great food and coffee. Great view of the lake too!
