There are only few places to buy fabric in this area and this is the best one. They have a small but unique collection to choose from, and if they don’t have what you want they will order it in.
She also does machine quilting and does an amazing job. I have had 3 quilts that I cut and sewed together and had her machine quilt them. The mother has had a dozen or so quilted by the owner.
She is intelligent and nice and very helpful. She will help you pick fabrics that go well together and she even teaches classes if you would like to learn how to quilt or a special pattern.
She makes vests, jackets, pot holders, you name it and she will quilt it.
Prices are a little higher than JoAnn or Walmart, but you are getting experience with her. There are no coupons. But being one of the only quilt shops for 100 miles you can get away with it.
I have stopped having my quilts done here in town and send them here because she is so good and she is actually a little less expensive to quilt items than shops in the KCMO area.
