This is our go-​to pizza place. «Joe’s Special» is my favorite, love the hot peppers mixed in with a bunch of other stuff I’d rather not think about, but damn it tastes good. I’ve ordered catering from them too, usually very good.

Would have had 5 stars but TV playing CNN which sucks. Everything else was great. I had the pizza with mushrooms and it was very good. Friendly and fast service.

Love Planet Pizza for dine-​in, delivery, or take-​out. Great pizza with decent drink/​dessert varieties. Definitely like the pizza more than the pasta dishes and salads but a solid pizza joint.

I’ve ordered a few times now, and everything has been really good. I use the Eat24 app which is super convenient, and the delivery has been free (over $ 10) and right on time. Today I ordered a Tuscan chicken salad… it’s delicious! Thanks for the great food and service!

I came for lunch and placed my order. I then showed them my Shelton HS football discount card for 10% off. The guy said he could not and will not give did out because it was too late. I will never come back on principal and their lack of integrity. Why are business so stupid and untrained. How hard is good customer service

Let’s start by saying that they are open later then most other restaurants in the area so way to go guys. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a decent meal after hours they have pretty good food but if they tried a little harder it could be more then a late night craving filler.
I have eaten a good amount of food on separate occasions from planet pizza and have overall had a good experience

I typically use Planet Pizza’s delivery service and I am a fan. The food is good, better than what you would expect for the money. The people are all really nice and helpful. Once when a huge snow storm was headed our way, they helped me out with off menu items because I had not been able to get to the store and was out of groceries. In the years that I have been using this restaurant there have been the very rare mix ups or mishaps and they have been very rare, I can only recall two and both times the situation was resolved quickly and competently. Mistakes happen, people are human and make them everyday, what matters is how you handle it when you do make one and for me Planet Pizza did what they needed to do to correct the mistake and make me a happy customer.

It is very frustrating trying to review Planet Pizza in Shelton. They’re like the little girl in the Longfellow poem:
«And when she was good, she was very, very good,
But when she was bad she was horrid.»
If you order 10 times from Planet Pizza, 9 times the whole experience will be good — good, hot food delivered as promised by a competent driver — and the 10^th time will be absolutely awful — we’ve had lost orders, wrong orders, ridiculously late orders, etc. It’s the Russian roulette of pizza places. And do not expect the people at the place to be apologetic when you call to request status or complain.
They offer many ways to order online, but you’ll do better using Eat24​.Com. (GrubHub will charge a delivery fee and they do not properly use the notification e-​mail/​texts. Sometimes the «on the way» communication comes after the food has already come and been eaten.)
Do not expect a quick delivery, but expect a polite driver (who may or may not speak English) holding hot food when he or she arrives. They have a large delivery staff, so it is common to get a different guy every time you call even if you call twice on the same night.
Their pasta is great, the sandwiches are very good, the pizza is somewhat generic but offers some unique options.

This place is great when you need pizza in a pinch and nobody else is open They did get pizza to me during a snow storm which is commendable I love using their website to order You can even add the tip on website The pizza is really just ok Nothing great Like I said its only good for a pizza fix when you just don’t have time for anything else

Not a gourmet pizza restaurant (not that I am expecting that from them) but the do deliver good food. I always use delivery and it has always been here in 30 – 45 minutes.(more than reasonable time) Their web site is easy to use and easy to order from and they have decent specials. They have a nice selection of appetizers and wings. I can’t say I have ever tried any of their entrees.

I ordered a Philly cheese steak and it was very dry barely any cheese and burnt. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt since it is a Friday night.

Terrible buffalo wings. We were able to order on eat24 app which is incredibly convenient so that is the only reason this would even deserve 1 star.
From what I can tell this place cares very little about the quality of their wings. They were drowning in sauce which gave me heartburn and eventually made me feel sick.
I have not tried their pizza but if I do and the pizza is good maybe I will update my review.

The food is always great. Love chicken cobb salads and pizza. Order online, delivered or wat in… all good.

We ordered take out from here the other day. It was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. The pizza arrived hot and was quite tasty. It was a very basic pie, nothing out of the ordinary. It came with a free order of garlic knots which was a nice touch. There are definitely better pizza options in town but there was nothing wrong with the pie. I would order again from here.

We love this place. Pizza is great as well as the other items in the menu. The staff is friendly as well. Delivery doesn’t take forever and the pizza is always still warm.

My roommates and I get delivery from here about once a week. We usually get Grandma’s pizza which is delicious. The pizza isn’t a grease pie which is key. They have fresh salads as well, and we usually use a coupon on the menu to get some free hot wings or breadsticks. They are not super speedy for delivery but they are busy because they are good — so thats to be expected.
A side note — one time when we got delivery the driver helped to right some plants which had fallen over on our porch. Just a super nice guy! Now if they could just deliver beer…

I sometimes order pizza from here, via delivery I must say the ONLY time I order in (delivery) is when I’m TRULY desperate! With that said, I’ve gotta admit, I’ve been desperate a few times, and each time I say «next time, I won’t order in… I’ll go somewhere.» Laziness Doesn’t pay off!
The first few times I’ve ordered in from here, was OK. Then a few times, we ate in, at Planet pizza, (just to see how things were.) Dining in was better than delivery… but I also hate eating in places like this. (Ambiance is lacking & such.)
The food is OK, if you’re expectations aren’t much. The prices are OK, considering. You really can’t expect much from «pizzeria’s» which focus on delivery revenue.

Their lemon chicken & spinach is always fresh, you wait a few extra minutes but it does not disappoint — delicious
