Not on Church Street but rather 63WOOSTER, NEARCORAM. Church address, that’s the Huntington branch. I oughta know, as I am penning from Plumb right now. Go…if you love history, library, books, come visit the original 1895 building. An annex opened up in…’97, was it? Librarians helpful… bathroom downstairs.

I love this place. You get books for free there– but you have to return them when your done reading them. What else are you going to do with them anyway? It has a great childrens library too

The two libraries in shelton are a lil«funny». Funny because the Plumb Memeorial Library which this one is NOT this listing is inaccurate by either name or location(depending on how you look at the matter). The Plumb Memorial Library is actually located at: 65 Wooster St., Shelton, Ct 6484 and THIS library… named Huntington Branch Library IS located at 41 Church St., Shelton, CT6484(or Huntington, Shelton… if you’re snobby and insist you don’t live in «Shelton» as some«Huntington residents» insist. LOL anyhow for my review. This library(The Huntington Branch) THB is actually smaller than the(Plumb Memorial Branch) PMB& has a smaller selection of items, but sufficent enough. However, the building this library is located in, has the Community Recreation center attached to it, so it’s multiple services in one visit. ie: check out books/videos @ the library, and then go swimming in the public(CLEAN) pool, shoot some hoops in the public gym, etc. While the employees here are quite a bit more laid back than the«Plumb» employees.

great library with good selections, convenient hours and helpful staff. The original building is a must see when you are in Shelton.
