Yummy! The crab cocktail is my favorite, unless it’s a Monday, cause then it’s all about the crab cakes. All of the seafood is fresh and I never leave hungry. You might have to wait a bit for a seat, but do it you won’t be disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxed and service is casual and laid back.

Wow. This is a gem of a place. The first come first serve at the bar atmosphere is perfect for the front row seat you will enjoy for oysters, clams and other local seafood. Fresh cocktails and a big wine list make staying longer easier. The crab seafood cocktail, chowder. Worth the wait and worth the return visit.

Well tonight was my first trip to the restaurant after many rave reviews from family, friends, even the people waiting to go in that have been previous patrons. The ambiance and seating is fun. A wrap around bar that encourages the interactions between the people. It can be extremely busy so be safe and always expect some waiting. But tonight we were in pretty fast; at least it seemed that because my cousin and I were having fun talking to the people waiting for seats too. Now to the food. I ordered the halibut. It comes with your choice of potato and a soup or salad. I got the crab bisque which was always highly talked about however mine was cool which I didn’t care for. The halibut came out a few minutes later. The fish was cooked pretty well-no complaints there. However the garlic mash taters were cool and the veggies were a bit soggy which was also a downside-especially for $ 26. My cousin ordered the shrimp Thai sauté. This I’ve tried from my sisters or moms leftovers and it is the bomb. But tonight there was a hair in my cousins order. I’m chalking up this experience to a bad night because all the other times is been amazing leftovers for me so I can only imagine what it would have been if I had it in the restaurant. I’m very open to returning and trying again.

Great fresh seafood … You can’t go wrong here … Seating is limited so you may have to wait. Better for 2 – 4 people than more. Whenever friends from out of town come here, I take them here. SOMUCH better than Oly Anthony’s(which is good) or other seafood restaurants

I love the seafood bar, it is amazing the only flaw is when it’s a busy night it’s hard to find a seat, they should expand it because it always seems to be busy. I recommend getting one of the steamed seafood items, and the sautéed I items and the crab bisque. Don’t order from the menu they offer from the restaurant next door as its not as good as the Seafood, and crab bisque.

I like the seating set up — classy and yet easily accessible. I’ve been there a few times and it’s always busy but it never feels overly crowded and the staff is quick to greet guests and touch base just often enough to make sure everyones satisfied. Every time I’ve had their food I leave extremely satisfied with the experience.

This place is SOGOOD! I’ll post a couple pictures later, but I had a bowl od chowder and crab bisque(mixed together, it sounds weird but is delectable) and a dozen oysters. But there were about 16 on the plate. They were steamed perfectly and presented with all the fixins. The only sad part is: I’m going back home and won’t get to eat there again. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. And they have Pilsner Urquell on tap.

One of the best seafood bars around. Fresh fish and seafood. Great service. Great drinks. We travel almost 70 miles to go there and it is well worth it. Oh, we enjoy the casino too.

I love eating here! Get the crab cocktail — it is enormous! Or get the this peanut shrimp rice dish — dang — that is amazing also! This seafood bar is borderline small. They need to expand it as there always seems to be a wait for a place to sit :(

We ordered 6 oysters, the server brought 24. We said we ordered 6 and he said we ordered 24 then he walked away. There was a red worm squirming in one of the oysters.

Primary point of advice; Stay on the seafood and sauté sheet. Everything on it is freshly prepared and cooked in front of you. You cannot get this menu in the restaurant btw. I have tried pretty much everything and many versions of the sautés. Nothing better than the sweet Thai peanut shrimp dish… And add a 5+ star spice for an adventure. This place is good for kids who enjoy seafood. It is on the hotel side, so it is nonsmoking and not as much concern as the posts that I have read as well. Prime dinner hour is difficult for seating, first come first serve for about 25 sea foodies Anytime before 4p is good for parties of more than 2… the wait is worth it however, if it is busy.

If you can look past the fact that this is a bar in a smoky casino then you will find fresh seafood prepared while you watch. The sautéed shrimp with Thai peanut sauce was a surprisingly delicious combination! I could have done without the blaring tvs but the food made it worth it. There are no tables– just seats at the bar, so big parties may not fit.

We stopped at this seafood bar(inside Little Creek Casino) on the way back from a wine tasting at Walter Dacon Wines. The place can get very crowded, and if you have to stand in line outside you will likely be sucking in some cigarette smoke. I ordered a half pound of king crab, my wife ordered a half pound of Dungeness, and we split some oysters. The oysters took forever to arrive. My crab came shelled, and was a tiny amount. My wife’s came in the shell, and was half of a very small crab. They cost us about $ 18 each, and I was pretty disappointed. The place was very busy, didn’t look very clean, and didn’t make us want to linger. I’ve been here before, and the food and the experiences are inconsistent. It can be good or bad.

Seafood Bar is the best. Don’t mistake this for their buffet(which isn’t impressive). The seafood bar typically you will have a little wait to be able to be seated but worth it. The steamers are fresh and everything for the most part is cooked in front of you.

Excellent!!! I begged my boyfriend to pull off so I could try this seafood place(yes inside casino) So worth it! Crab bisque was fantastic with quite abit of Dungeness crab, clam chowder was hearty and the fresh steamed oysters were to die for! Soups could have been served hotter & service was just above adequate(that’s why only 4 stars) however overall Warm friendly atmosphere, Definitely recommend. It was obvious this is where the locals eat which is another good sign:)

Loved this place! If you’re in an RV, park in the gravel area to the right and walk up to the hotel lobby of the casino. Make sure you go to the Seafood Bar and not the Island Grille. The crab and shrimp is so fresh and delicious! The barkeep flash steams it right there, and he cooks the sauce for the rice. Lots of fresh veggies in the rice dish! We shared a ½ lb crab cocktail and a half order of the shrimp scampi rice, and we were stuffed! Really, really good!

Call this a Tweener, 3.5 but not a 4.0 as it were. Nestled in the belly of a Nevada style casino hotel complex is where you will find Squaxin Island Seafood Bar. It was a pleasant surprise to find this place versus going to a coffee shop, buffet or sports bar for dinner also available at the Little Creek Casino. The service could not have been better, 5 stars all the way. The large horseshoe shaped bar surrounds the bar and serving area. Their selection is also commendable with some great Pac Northwest fresh seafood goodies. Fresh oysters individually or by the dozen, fresh crab, salmon and several seafood cocktails were all available. At our servers recommendation several of us got a surf and turf combo that was very attractively priced. Mine came with an amazing bowl of crab bisque. The reason I can’t go higher than the 3.5 are really two glaring issues that made an otherwise great meal just better than average. First, the amazing crab bisque piled generously high with succulent and ever so sweet Dungeness crab meat was unfortunately not shelled very well. Otherwise this is a home run, amazing flavor and consistency of the soup. However, not once or twice but several delicious spoonfuls of the bisque were overshadowed but the pronounced crunch of thick leg shells. After the 3rd crunchy bite I picked the remaining crab shells myself. Onto the entrée which was a New York steak and a small lobster tail. The steak was let’s just say jerky like in texture and once again left me feeling like the«great deal» was more a case of you get what you pay for. It was a decent meal with the steak not up to snuff. Too bad high hopes dashed to just average. Even with all of that I would recommend the Squaxin Island Seafood Bar. Great vibe, nice atmosphere and some stand outs mixed in with some so-so’s. Attentiion to a few details and a better quality steak and I am right there with the other glowing Unilocaler reviews.

Delicious. How can you see this food, and not go inside to try it?! I asked for a Belgian ale, got a Pilsner. The server was so nice and kind to us, so I gladly accepted it. Then I ordered fish and chips, because the fish they used look so dense and flaky(when I saw another customer’s plate). When my order was being made, other customers nearby were being served their Crab Bisque with Dungeness Crab meat topped, so I immediately asked for a serving as well. I was SO glad I did. It was Ah-Maze-Zing! My fish and chips came right before I finished the soup… Awesome service. It came with tartar sauce and cocktail. The cocktail was awesome too, with a strong presence of horseradish in it. My experience was great, friendly, and timely. I loved it. My friends ordered the seafood trio and loved it as well. TRYIT. You won’t be disappointed.
